This hotel has given me the best experience in a hotel. The staff at this hotel have been so accommodating, and nice. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The ambience of the rooms and hotel were amazing. It has the perfect setting for downtown Knoxville. Super convenient to get to and just steps away to dinning and shopping.... More

We stayed at the Oliver for one night and it was memorable! The hotel was beautiful and the service was excellent! We stayed in a queen room and it was superbly decorated and the bathroom personal care hotels are exquisite. The location is right in the heart of Market Square and the theatre district is one street over. We will... More

Stayed two nights at the Oliver Hotel. Had a corner king room on the 3rd floor. Very nice property. The Good: Location, location, location. Everything imaginable right outside the door. Two good restaurants in the hotel and many others within steps. Lots of fun bars with roof decks, and lots of Pokestops nearby (including the hotel). Big room and bath,... More

While in Knoxville we stayed at The Oliver Hotel and I can't say enough great things about it. I give it my highest recommendation if you're in the area and I look forward to going back. Fabulous quality, service, and setting. The hotel bar, The Peter Kern Library, is well worth your time as well with the drinks named for... More

Great service, great room, and great view of Market Square. They allowed us to drop of our luggage the day before and had it in our room waiting when we arrived. There is speakeasy in the hotel called the Library which is worth experiencing. Overall, the price was well worth the stay!

We only stayed here for a night while in Knoxville, but found the hotel to be very conveniently located for walking to Market Square, and if you are on the fit side UT and World's Fair Park. We self parked in the garage around the corner and it was only $8 for the entire time we were there. We arrived... More

Great little hotel, great staff and location right off Market Square. Two restaurants to choose from right in the hotel as well as a charming bar. Pricey but well worth it. They offer valet parking for $18 per night but there is a public parking garage just around the corner.

Finally arranged a stay at this wonderful hotel. Great location in the heart of Market Square with many food and drink options in the vicinity. Don't forget, however, to visit the Peter Kern Library while staying there. Room facing square but noise wasn't an issue. Definitely will return.

My husband and I agree that this is the best overall hotel we have ever visited. The hotel is beautiful, clean and within walking distance of unique restaurants and shops. The best part was the staff. I felt like royalty and like an old friend at the same time. Thanks to the staff at The Oliver Hotel for making our... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Situated in the heart of Knoxville just steps away from the hustle and bustle of Market Square, The Oliver Hotel is an original expression of the city. Originally built in 1876 as the Peter Kern Bakery, the building had hosted everything from the Kern's candy counter and soda fountain to a drugstore, and dancing hall. In 2011, the property was renovated into what is now Knoxville's best boutique hotel with a style that plays tribute to the buildings history, while offering guests rooms with charm, sophistication, and modern amenities.
