We had the perfect room on the 10th floor overlooking Market Square and were able to view the fireworks at midnight from the warmth of our room. The Crowne Plaza always goes out of their way to make us feel welcome and make our stay extra special. Nice restaurant onsite and a cozy bar for before and after dinner drinks! - Odyssey4592602 contributionsAmazing staff and location at reasonable prices.Perfect location to walk to market square. Undercover parking was $10/day which was great. We had two rooms for the weekend (for my son's graduation) so I was looking for reasonable prices. The hotel facilities, lobby and room were very nice and clean. But what really made our stay was the staff. Lisa at the front desk was an angel going out of her way to accommodate all of our needs (and we were a handful!). The breakfast at the dining room was wonderful and very reasonably priced as well (our lady server was hilarious and super accommodating when we went at the end of the breakfast shift). I lost water pressure (zero water) for a few minutes while taking a shower but I am not deducting any points because the service overall was so freaking outstanding. Thanks to the staff (including our housekeeper) I was able to create some unforgettable memories with my family. Crown Plaza make sure you take care of your employees --they made our weekend!Thank you for your recent stay at the Crowne Plaza Knoxville. Every visit is always a amazing experience. Hotel staff always so helpful. Restaurant good service and great food. Market street and Old Town are a short walk great little shop and restaurants. Staying in Knoxville this is the place to go !!!!!

I'd give this place 3.5 stars if possible, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt with 4. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars, but just couldn't. The place itself, the staff, and the location are great, but there are some minor issues that add up. In addition, we had three fire alarms over the course of one night. Fortunately, it was announced almost immediately that they were false alarms, but other than an apology there wasn't any type of reimbursement for the major interruptions of a good night's sleep. Pros: - Great location - Rooms are modern and clean - Excellent staff - Dog friendly Cons: - Almost non-existent drawer space. So, if you are staying several nights and want to unpack, tough. You'll just have to live out of your suitcase. Most budget motels have more drawer space than this. - The doors have almost a half inch gap under them, so none of the hallway noise is dampened and you can hear everything going on in the hall. Very problematic for light sleepers - The nano-fridge barely keeps items cold, so be warned if you have medicine that needs to be stored at a cold temperature…

We stayed at this hotel for a recent UT graduation. The staff was very nice and helpful, and the location was great. However, we thought there were some things that did not feel like a $500 per night room. First, the bathroom was extremely small, with limited counter space on the sink. Second, the shower was very awkward. You had to walk almost fully in the shower to turn it on, resulting in a very cold blast of water being sprayed on you. Also, there was no bench or bar in the shower to shave your legs. Third, we had to be up early for the graduation and when I went to get coffee at 6 am, I was told coffee would not be ready until 6:30 am. (Ugh) Besides those three issues, our stay was uneventful, however, for $500 a night, I would expect more.

Hands down this is the best hotel in Knoxville. The service is first class in every department - from check in, gift shop, restaurant and bar and the rooms are spotless. I felt very comfortable and safe walking to Market Square - just a minute away. I'll be back for sure!

We were here for 2 nights for business. We had a very nice handicap accessible room with king size bed. The restroom was spacious with a great shower with shower head on a pole that could be adjusted or removed. The refrigerator was tiny and challenging to put stuff into. There was a nice lighted closet, a comfortable chair and footstool as well as a computer desk and chair. We ate dinner in the restaurant on a Friday and enjoyed the fantastic seafood buffet as well as the prime rib. Our server was great and had a nice sense of humor. We had pecan pie and cobbler for dessert. There was a parking garage, for a few. They are doing some renovations and construction around the hotel, so getting around can be a challenge. The desk clerk was friendly and very helpful. The hotel is in a nice area near shops, restaurants and theaters. However, don’t venture too far away because there is a large encampment with homeless people nearby. I would recommend this hotel.…

Overall I didn’t feel rested . The bed was not comfortable at all . The mattress was worn out with a gully in middle . Bedding didn’t smell fresh . The toilet paper roll was left from previous guest , half used . I feel this should have been replaced . Parking was extra . Breakfast extra . Probably wouldn’t stay here again for the price .

Nice enough hotel but walls are PAPER THIN. Was here for a conference and while in the sleeping rooms you could hear people making coffee, using the toilet , sneezing etc. Then on a Saturday night around 11 pm a bunch of us were gathered in the 12th floor suite and were told very rudely by security that we were making too much noise even though we were talking at a normal volume and it was prior to midnite! If the entire hotel has poor soundproofing, the hotel should not turn around and blame their paying guests for having a normal conversation in a suite intended for a larger gathering. Instead, the hotel should invest some money in decent sound proofing! Also, be advised that it you have a Mac or an iPhone you will have lots of trouble using the wifi. We were given a workaround that worked for some but not others. But really, a workaround should not be necessary. I’ve never had trouble getting on wifi with my Mac/iPhone at any other hotel, in the US or elsewhere! Management needs to take responsibility for problems that are possible for the hotel to fix and fix them instead of blaming others.…

It was so nice to stay at this hotel after attending a venue. It was close to places to eat and drink. The room was very spacious, with enough space for us to move around freely without bumping into each other. All the toiletries were present with clean towels. Beds were very comfortable and I would definately stay here again.

This hotel was very disappointing. Maybe this is the level Crowne Royals are now? But here were the bummers: 1.No water in room nor cups for water in gym. When I asked a worker, she told me I could buy one in the gift shop. Um, no. Why give out headphones and towels to use but no water in gym?? 2. We could hear entire conversations in the room next to us and in the halls. Plus all the doors slam shut. 3. We were never greeted by the workers—my husband liked this but I found it rude. We came in and out quite a bit over 3 days and I only got one small wave when the desk guy and I made eye contact. 4. Gift shop was “open” to sell snacks at 9pm but sent us to the front desk guy to pay. Petty, I know, but not customer friendly. 5. Room service delivered breakfast early, the complained I wasn’t there to get the meal. Said he awaited 10 mins. There was no way that happened. But instead of being service-oriented and saying they’d bring it up right away, they said that I’d have to wait a long time until they could make it again. 6. Maid never came one day. If we were paying 2 star prices I’d be expecting some of this. But this was just poor service all around.…
