Nothing egregiously wrong with the hotel but it is clearly showing its age. Also some of the common spaces (gym) need a major overhaul and a nice cleaning wouldn't hurt. When running on the treadmill (that wasn't exactly level or sturdy) you could see all the cobwebs on the windows. The room was fine, your basic Marriott, the lobby is... More

Decent hotel, albeit getting dated and rooms are a little worn. Facilities are OK and a small but friendly concierge lounge. Make certain you ask for an outward facing room when booking. Lobby bar is OK, service was slow given that it wasn't very busy.

This is prob 4-6th time I've stayed here. Really awesome atrium style hotel. Very close to downtown attractions and theaters... rooms are spacious, clean and inviting, and in excellent shape. I had the pleasure of dealing with Elizabeth G and she was very helpful and took care of all our group's needs. She went over and above in making us... More

If you are looking for Business Meeting Accommodations, this is a great place. We had around 250-300 employees in the meeting with stage for presentations and round tables which accommodated 10 individuals per table. There was room in the entry way for buffet lunch setup with two table lines. Plenty of rooms so that it was convenient for out of... More

We were in Knoxville two nights non consecutive. We had a good rate on the Hilton since it was mid week but then we stayed at Marriott on following weekend. Big difference. Hilton beds, FABULOUS! Hilton had an Outside dining/wine/coffee area with firepit , small rooftop pool, vs Marriott outdoor pool with plenty of green space for kids and dogs... More

If you are going to be downtown this to me is the place to stay. If you can get an upper level room, the view of the river and downtown is really nice, and you are an easy walk from the Old City area.

This original Hyatt Regency has been a part of Knoxville architecture for decades but does not appear to be progressing with the revitalization of the city center. There is a lot of energy and creativity developing in the revitalized old town section of the city which has not made its way over to this location. If you are in town... More

Some if the reviews stated the hotel is in need of updating. That's not true. Very nice stay here August 26-28th. Hotel is clean, nice pool and good breakfast buffett for $15. The hotel is close to downtown, restaurants and freeway. There is also a trolley that will take you in the heart of the downtown area. I will book here... More

Always stay here close to downtown and all the good restaraunts, civic center. Good concierge room, freindly staff and reasonable price. Rooms are clean and if you can get a city view room you can have a balcony

I've had the opportunity to stay here a few times for work and for how expensive it is during the week, I'd possibly look around. Compared to other places, I'd expect the quality to be better but every time I stay there it seems to have issues. The food in the bar area isn't great either so if you stay... More
