We only had an overnight stay at the Hilton downtown Knoxville, but would have liked to stay and explore more! The location, the staff, the room, and the extras were all just what we needed. Rooms were very comfortable and clean and the Starbucks in-house is a great amenity as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything about it was positive. I hope we get the opportunity to return soon.
Trevor was a great host and valet. Took care of us and gave us all the information we needed for a great stay!! As tourist, we weren’t even sure where to start. He took his time and mapped out a great plan of what to do and visit first We truly appreciated his sincerity and his services!!
Had a great experience at this Hilton! Stayed Aug 19th for a volleyball tournament. All the front desk staff were friendly and helpful! Bri, Josh, and John went above and beyond to make our visit wonderful! They were very accommodating to help our team watch their high school football team they were missing. They helped us get everything set up and were just overall awesome! This hotel will definitely be our first choice for future tournament stays!
I was in Knoxville recently for a conference, and the Hilton was just across the road from where the conference was being held. My experience was exactly as expected, with the staff being as extreme helpful and professional. The rooms were large and clean, with regular housekeeping - ensuring that they stayed that way.
I usually don’t enjoy staying downtown because of the noise and parking. Loved this location, staff and property! This is my new go to place. I had to leave at 5 in the morning and the valet was ready.
This property is a small Hilton. There were only about 20 hotel rooms per floor. The Starbucks was closed by 2 p.m. The food menu was limited (and not worth ordering when I read the menu). Room service "due to COVID" was not provided during the stay. The desk staff were not briefed by management about the convention businesses that were hosted there. On the good side the hotel was clean and safe. However, as a Hilton property, it did not provide above average customer service.
The employees were absolutely lovely and the room was very clean. For the price, some complementary coffee and breakfast in the lobby would have been nice; however, there is a Starbucks and what looks like a very good restaurant. I would recommend this hotel to someone who wants to be in the middle of the downtown area with all of the hustle and bustle. Parking is pricey and they also have valet. If I could give this a 4.7 rating I would, but I don’t want to be a jerk and give them a four.
When I called the night prior to my arrival to confirm that my name had been added to a reservation for a large block of rooms, I learned there had been a hiccup. After my call was handed off from one associate to another, I was pleased to find that I was speaking to Raven who quickly made the correction. She was engaging and her sparkling personality transmitted beautifully over the phone. When the call was concluded I was assured that there would be no problem with check-in. When I arrived the next evening, I had the pleasure of having her check me in and she remembered me with a smile! Having worked in the hospitality industry at a luxury hotel a few decades ago, I recognize superior guest service. In a world of fading guest/customer service, it is important to recognize that there are some exceptional associates who exude hospitality authentically. Please share my compliments and thanks to Raven. On another note, the room was squeaky clean and the bed super comfy! Should I visit your great city again in the future, your hotel will be my first choice.…
Water pressure was terrible. Water never got hot. Was not greeted as a gold club member or offered any member benefits. Bed was noisy. I've stayed at less expensive Holiday Inns and had better rooms and better service with free breakfast and parking. I would not stay here again.
This hotel is charging me x amount of money that does not correspond to their fees, the air conditioning system turned on and off during the night and the carpet was wet in the area near the A/C, I requested cleaning services daily and they did not clean the room daily.
