The highlight of the hotel is certainly their waterpark, which I would say was really designed for children aged 4 to 10, although others could also enjoy it. That was great! The breakfast was nice. The room had some problems. The door would get stuck as the door latch wouldn't fully retract, so we felt like we were breaking into our own room. The majority of electrical sockets in the room had issues of initially turning on then turning off. The staff was nice and said that they would have maintenance look into it, so hopefully it is fixed as of the writing of this review.

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. I had not stayed here before and did not know what to expect. The lobby was very nice. There is a small business center and breakfast area. Breakfast was great. Options include cereal, biscuits, gravy, sausage, eggs, yogurt, waffles, and several varieties of juice. The interior pool area is older. However, we were traveling to sight see and go to Dollywood, not stay at the hotel all day. So, the pool did not bother me. The room appeared to be updated. It was larger than many hotel rooms I've stayed in. The bed was firm and appeared to be like-new. I like a firm bed. I know this comes down to personal preference. There was a desk area, refrigerator, microwave, ironing board, iron, and blow dryer. Shower products were also included. The hotel has a full room service menu, which was quite surprising, but I'd definitely take advantage of the room service option if I stayed again. The hotel is conveniently located off the interstate near Turkey Creek and about 50 minutes to Pigeon Forge. It worked out well for us. We drove down on Friday, went to Dollywood on Saturday, and drove back to Nashville on Sunday. We were able to conveniently miss all the Pigeon Forge traffic leaving at the same time on Sunday and had an hour for my daughter to swim at the pool, which she enjoyed. Compared to hotel prices in Pigeon Forge, this is an economical hotel option. Plus, I felt that the hotel offered adequate security. Doors remained locked from the inside and exterior. Room cards required for hotel entry. Also, the pools are closed at 9pm and the "waterpark" is turned off. So, the noise level drops off considerably. By 10/11pm, the hotel was very quiet. I heard minimal noise from the hallways or other rooms during the night. All in all, a very good experience and I would stay here again.

We checked into room 213 but the air conditioning wasn't working so we were switched to room 211. Both rooms looked like they could use renovating. The beds were hard and should be replaced. The closed indoor corridors were noisy & sound traveled easily into the rooms. The shower was only warm not hot & had very low water pressure. The vending mschines took credit cards but most were out of order, the same also goes for the laundry area. The waterpark area was okay but we will not stay again.

We came to Knoxville for one night to watch our team play the Ice Bears hockey team in the playoffs. The hotel was nice and simple as advertised. I choose this place because of the pool/water park area. Pool temp and large hot tub temp was good. Nice play area for the kids as well... complete with the giant bucket of water that dumps every few min (just like at water parks... minus the bell) I would go back here next time in Knoxville... especially if you and/or your kids like water.

Convenient to Downtown, Interstates & nice Restaurants ( Applebees & the like ). The room was clean but in need of an update ( Rug was a little worn, Low Counter ). There was a Hair Dryer, Iron w/ Ironing Board, & a Flat Screen TV. The shower was clean w/ great water pressure. The mattress was a little Soft for us, but did not impair our sleep. The Staff was friendly & informative and we definitely would stay here again if we visited Knoxville. ( visit end of March 2019 )
