NUMBER OF ROOMS
This hotel looks beautiful from the outside but the room was a strange design with the wash basin outside the bathroom & no closet to hang coats. It was clean & the staff friendly. The breakfast was average as was the hotel generally.
This is my second or third stay at this hotel. I love the convenient location right in the middle of shopping and restaurants. Even though it's a busy area, it's quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. Very restful weekend
This hotel was awful. We booked this through Wyndham and I would never stay there again. The food was very poor quality...sausage tasted so bad after a bite, I would not trust it. The front desk staff looked irritated when we asked for dough To make the waffles since there wasn’t any. There was powdered coffee creamer only. I could see why hardly anyone was in the dining area. The room smelled bad, the furniture was broken with cabinet doors hanging off but worst of all the inner security door lock was broken off and the door looked as if it had recently been broken into but not fixed as there were gaps all along the side of the door. I would not stay here again for anything!
We were on a fall leave drive and decided to stop & found this nice property-Our check in lady was very helpful with supper ideas and ease of checking in with no reservation-was able to walk to the restaurant she recommended and even had a coupon! Win/win
My husband and I checked in around 8:30 p.m. and the young lady at the front desk could not have been less friendly if she had tried. A gentleman had just come down from his room, 229, saying his key card didn't work. She asked him, "Well did you put it next to your cell phone"(?!) He just responded, "Yeah, probably" and wanted to get back to his room with a working card. I then asked her a simple, basic question and she answered in an exasperated tone so I left it at that while she robotically stated without taking a breath, (as fast as the fine print at the end of TV ads) - The elevator is around this corner breakfast is from 6 to 9 checkout is at 11 here's your key card the WiFi password is inside. And then she walked away. This did not bode well. Up we went in the elevator which was disgusting (photo). The doors open on the second floor and there is no sign directing you which room numbers are to the left or right. We get to our room, 202, close the door behind us to see (photo) this: A piece of toilet paper wadded up into the peephole. Not something housekeeping could exactly miss, right? The wall just between this door and the mirror has what looks like a piece of Q-tip stuck there (photo). My husband went to take a hot bath very late (while I was already in bed), he turned the light on in the bathroom and found ants crawling about. They were probably trying to get away from the roach, which he killed and flushed. More ants after my shower in the morning (photo). The outside of the door to the bathroom has paint spots missing/scraped (photos) and the inside of the bathroom door has what looks like poop explosion (photo, sorry). Late at night, this not being one of the safest towns in TN and the fact that we had prepaid meant we were in for the night and long haul. The bed and pillows were way too hard.Temperature in the room said 67 degrees but was way warmer than that and the fan blew loudly on and off all night. Plus, the sound of trucks going by on the highway was overwhelming. Breakfast time: No one to be seen at the front desk the entire time we were in the lobby from 8:00 a.m. to 8:35 a.m.Coffee and tea dispenser - BE CAREFUL! There's no way of knowing "where" to set your cup underneath and you will get burned like I did as it is "off" center of where the beverage actually comes out. Two dry cold cereal dispensers, fruit, a basket of oatmeal packets, a juice dispenser, a buffet style tray with biscuits, microwave folded over scrambled eggs (not omelets), sausage patties sitting in their own juices (no drip/drain tray), white toast, mini muffins and tiny bagels, yogurt and butter in the fridge and a waffle maker. So, at least breakfast wasn't a total failure but that's not saying much. Checkout time: No one at the front desk. Man finally comes out and I tell him about the ants and their roach friend in our room and he says: "202?" That's it. Nothing else. Not an apology or that they will take care of it. Zilch. Next time, we are staying elsewhere. And you should, too.…
