Butterfly Hollow is nestled at the end of a private road in a storybook setting, on 85 secluded acres, just a short scenic 45 minute drive east of Nashville in a quaint riverside town. These Cumberland plateau foothills are where those from Nashville and other nearby cities come to play. The close proximity to mountain streams filled with rainbow trout, hiking and biking trails and two beautiful, scenic lakes, less than ten minutes away, makes Butterfly Hollow a perfect getaway for families, couples, recording artists, songwriters and the discerning traveler looking for a little peace and solitude during their visit to Tennessee. It's the perfect hideaway for Romantic Getaways, A Weekend with Friends, an Escape for the Whole Family, a Private Artist / Writer's Retreat, Special Events, and Intimate Weddings.

My other half and I had our wedding here on 10-4, and Dave was amazing! He specializes in small weddings, and made our whole experience relatively stress-free. What little stress remained was entirely of our own making, as he was fully willing and able to handle anything we threw at him. He planned all the details of our wedding with our input, officiated for us, and even helped arrange the reception at an off-site location that he partners with. My new bride and I were blown away by how stunning the property was, as well as his level of service and professionalism. On top of everything else that blew us away, we had a beautiful, small wedding for around half the cost we were initially expecting. Our guests kept asking how we found this hidden gem, and all we could think was how lucky we were to have found it on Google. We will absolutely be planning a trip back up there, probably some time next summer. If you're thinking of scheduling a weekend getaway within 50 miles of Nashville and were considering staying at the Butterfly Hollow, DO IT! Book it now! Book it yesterday, if you could.

Beautiful, comfortable property surrounded by woods and wildlife. Dave is an exceptional host. We stayed in Leytons Porch room and the bed was super comfortable and shower was very nice. A great getaway for couples looking to relax and enjoy nature.

My Mom and I visited for a girls weekend. The whole stay was amazing. The hospitality was unheard of. I work in the Hotel Industry and have never encountered this level of service and friendliness. Dave is amazing and our breakfast were delicious. I will return and next time bring my husband, can't wait.

You may have noticed this venue has only 5 star reviews. This makes the well-deserved 175th one!!! My now husband and I were looking for a venue to host a small, intimate wedding for about 25 people and found Butterfly Hollow. We stayed the night before the wedding and the next morning our host, Dave, had cooked up a wonderful breakfast. We enjoyed chatting with him over our meal. We had plenty of time to relax and prepare for our early evening wedding. There was a wedding before ours and we we amazed how seamlessly it was for Dave to have their group on their way prior to our guests arriving. Dave made everything so easy for us. We were able to simply enjoy the day and the company of friends and family and not have to stress over any details. It couldn’t have been a more perfect evening. If you want a low stress, beautiful wedding, we highly recommend Dave and Butterfly Hollie.

My husband and I eloped here about a week ago, and the entire experience was amazing! Dave is a fantastic host who can cook a mean breakfast! The scenery and landscape is breathtaking, and just what we needed to relax and unwind from our hectic life at home. I highly recommend Butterfly Hollow for any wedding needs, and also if you're just in need of a getaway. We are already in the process of planning a return trip.
