I can't recommend this place enough for a small wedding. My husband and I got married here, with 30 people total (we rented the whole place), in *April 2019* (Tripadvisor won't let me go back that far, which makes sense -- I just didn't think to check here). The grounds are beautiful. The host, Dave, is amazing. He handled everything, patiently and thoroughly explained all details and bills (I had zero unexpected costs). The day of our wedding, he was always quietly nearby if we needed anything and inconspicuously ushered the event into each next phase. And he's just a genuinely nice person. The grounds are beautiful; the photos don't do it justice. If you're an outdoorsy couple, even remotely, you'll love it. That's why we chose it. Quiet, green, secluded. And plenty of space to play for kids ... my young nieces and nephews *loved it* (and ran around so much in the grass that they all went straight to sleep!). The cost is beyond reasonable. We were living in Chicago at the time and had to quickly move up our wedding date to accommodate special family members, which made an outdoor wedding impossible in Chicago (unless we wanted to get married in sub-zero temperatures). We randomly found Butterfly Hollow because we have family in Nashville. Dave miraculously had a Saturday available, and we got married about two months later. Again, highly recommend. Dave handles everything ... cake, flowers, bouquet, food, venue, breakfast in the morning if you stay, etc.

My other half and I had our wedding here on 10-4, and Dave was amazing! He specializes in small weddings, and made our whole experience relatively stress-free. What little stress remained was entirely of our own making, as he was fully willing and able to handle anything we threw at him. He planned all the details of our wedding with our input, officiated for us, and even helped arrange the reception at an off-site location that he partners with. My new bride and I were blown away by how stunning the property was, as well as his level of service and professionalism. On top of everything else that blew us away, we had a beautiful, small wedding for around half the cost we were initially expecting. Our guests kept asking how we found this hidden gem, and all we could think was how lucky we were to have found it on Google. We will absolutely be planning a trip back up there, probably some time next summer. If you're thinking of scheduling a weekend getaway within 50 miles of Nashville and were considering staying at the Butterfly Hollow, DO IT! Book it now! Book it yesterday, if you could.

My Mom and I visited for a girls weekend. The whole stay was amazing. The hospitality was unheard of. I work in the Hotel Industry and have never encountered this level of service and friendliness. Dave is amazing and our breakfast were delicious. I will return and next time bring my husband, can't wait.

You may have noticed this venue has only 5 star reviews. This makes the well-deserved 175th one!!! My now husband and I were looking for a venue to host a small, intimate wedding for about 25 people and found Butterfly Hollow. We stayed the night before the wedding and the next morning our host, Dave, had cooked up a wonderful breakfast. We enjoyed chatting with him over our meal. We had plenty of time to relax and prepare for our early evening wedding. There was a wedding before ours and we we amazed how seamlessly it was for Dave to have their group on their way prior to our guests arriving. Dave made everything so easy for us. We were able to simply enjoy the day and the company of friends and family and not have to stress over any details. It couldn’t have been a more perfect evening. If you want a low stress, beautiful wedding, we highly recommend Dave and Butterfly Hollie.

My husband and I eloped here about a week ago, and the entire experience was amazing! Dave is a fantastic host who can cook a mean breakfast! The scenery and landscape is breathtaking, and just what we needed to relax and unwind from our hectic life at home. I highly recommend Butterfly Hollow for any wedding needs, and also if you're just in need of a getaway. We are already in the process of planning a return trip.

My wife and I were in the area and made sure we had a night to pay Dave a visit and stay at Butterfly Hollow. This is our 4th visit in 5 years, and it is NEVER disappointing. Dave is an excellent cook and a terrific person. Butterfly Hollow was in pristine condition as spring is taking hold in Middle Tennessee. We had an awesome, quiet evening in the country. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

We spent an evening here at the end of March and it was still a little chilly. When we arrived a fire was already burning in the wood stove. We had some time for a nice hike on the marked trail around the property and enjoyed the hot tub. Beautiful setting. No other guests were in the cabin so we had the place to ourselves. Dave came in the morning to cook us breakfast. Very enjoyable and relaxing.

We had a 2 day stay and elopement package which was just wonderful! Can't say enough good things about Butterfly Hollow and Dave. The grounds are lovely and so peaceful! It was the perfect getaway and we really got to relax and decompress during our stay. Dave is so friendly and anticipated our every request. He took care of all of our needs and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The breakfasts were fabulous and yummy... apple pancakes, ham & cheese omelets... and amazing zucchini bread! We stayed in Leyton's porch which has a screened in porch attached and it was perfect at night to sit & relax... and listen to the crickets! It was pure bliss and we hope to return!
