We stayed at the Americourt for the Tennessee/ VA Tech Football game. This 'well managed' Hotel has some age, but do not be deceived as it is very clean, has a great location in beautiful Elizabethton, which is a hidden jewel, but best of all....has the sweetest people employed! They are all wonderful and we were so pleased to see... More

A large group stayed for 2 nights to attend the Tenn-Va Tech game. Front desk clerk was very pleasant and efficient. Hotel is so outdated that I don't know where to begin. The overwhelming smell of smoke is hard to get buy when reviewing. We had to wash everything at home including our travel duffle bags to try to get... More

For the price it wasn't terrible. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable about the area. Also, if you have booked a rafting trip with Wahoo's you can get a discounted rate. At least you could when we stayed there.

You get what you pay for...we bought a bottle of febreze and sprayed the room down while we went into town and did laundry...did not help. Did not take a shower, left our luggage in the car... did not eat the breakfast. We checked the other motel in town is no better. Just keep driving...wish we would have.

We were just traveling through the area. For the $$ it was a good nights sleep. The pool was close to our room and we were the only one's in it so it made it seem like our own private pool. The manager (Ben) was fantastic, very friendly and help. He recommended a local pizza place for dinner and it... More

I'm sure there are worse places to stay and the price was certainly right, but because the hotel is being renovated, make sure you request and then make sure you get a renovated room. The halls are so laden with old tobacco smoke smell that I had trouble breathing for a few hours after we got back into the fresh... More

This hotel was recommended. I was told that the hotel had just been renovated. The front desk staff were great. Very outgoing and friendly. However, when I got to the room, I found the room in fair to poor condition. It had a musty odor. The carpet was buckled up in several places, along with grime on the doors. However,... More

This hotel was dated but clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We were given the "Ambassador Suite" room right up front, which was very helpful due to mobility issues that my husband has. Breakfast was pretty good, as they had eggs, sausage, gravy, etc. People more picky than we are might be good to avoid this hotel and... More

Good staff, clean, newly renovated room. (Freshly painted, new drapes, new windows, new A/C). The Bathroom was completely new (Freshly painted, new tub, new toilet, new vanity, new floor) although it was small. Dead-bolt did not work properly, but we enjoyed the nice breakfast- a lot of choices. Would stay again.

The hotel was not luxurious but comfortable for our family to stay. It definitely needs some updates but we were fine without them. Breakfast was great. We didn't really spend a whole lot of time at the hotel. We were busy sightseeing and doing other things. The staff was excellent but we never seemed to have enough towels.
