John and Anita could not be more welcoming hosts in this old style B+B in Dickson near Nashville. Breakfasts are typical Southern style, and served pretty much any time you want. In addition to rooms in the house there are a couple of cottages and a converted barn in which to stay, surrounded by trees and informal gardens. All is... More

I don't normally "do" B&B's but this one was set up for me. It was extra nice. I enjoyed every aspect of it. Beautiful, extra clean and very very nice people. The food was enjoyable too. You'll be glad you stayed.

What a charming B&B! We stayed in the Lovell cottage and everything was perfect. John and Anita Luther, our hosts, are very personable and charming. John, who operated a restaurant in Dickson for 35 years, is always accommodating. The breakfast was outstanding: fresh fruit, coffee/tea/juice, eggs, bacon, amazingly good waffles and more. Our sincere thanks to John and Anita for... More

Anita and John Luther are gracious hosts in this lovely B & B in Dickson. It is so quiet you get a great nights sleep! Once you are up in morning there is great coffee, a wonderful selection of teas and the Luther's will accommodate your schedule for breakfast. I have been there twice for business and my breakfast was... More

Dickson is a sleepy small town in central Tennessee that's trying hard to survive in the 21st century. And East Hills is a charming B & B run by the Luthers in a traditional way - almost in defiance of all the change! Not the most modern facilities but more than adequate, comfortable and lots of character. Breakfasts excellent -... More

The couple (Anita and John) that runs this B&B are the greatest! I am staying here for 6 months in one of the cottages and absolutely love it. They are the best hosts and make an absolutely great breakfast on the weekends. I have to get up to early to have breakfast daily as I have to be at work... More

My daughter and I stayed here for one night after a long drive. We were greeted by the Luthers and shown to our room, the Anderson Suite. It was a large room with two double beds and a sitting area. We had our own entrance right outside our room. I thought the room was charming (although my daughter thought it... More

My cousin and I met up in Nashville and drove to Dickson to spend 3 nights visiting an elderly aunt. I always thought the big chain hotels were our only choice until I saw this B&B called East Hills. Wow. What a find! The owners (Anita and John Luther) used to own a restaurant in Dickson--so breakfast was incredible. And... More

My husband and I were married here in October, 2007. John and Anita were very helpful through the whole process. I'm sure we must have worried them when we had to increase our guest number from 15 to 30 people, but they remained considerate and kind. The back patio area with the archway was perfect for our outdoor wedding, and... More
