Detailed Reviews
Our stay was quiet and relaxing. All the rooms face the lake with gorgeous views of the Smoky Mountains in the distance. Each room has deck chairs to enjoy this view, in addition to a large deck with fire pit on the ground floor. Our room was clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet was typical breakfast items, but the evening dessert was exceptional. Definitely try the brownie dessert! The young lady working the breakfast was very friendly and kept the dining area spotless. It is convenient to rent a pontoon boat right from the Inn, and we explored the lake for the day. I only gave a 4-star because there are some minor outside maintenance issues that need to be fixed to bring this Inn up to a first-class resort.

We stayed in the "Forever Yours" room on the top floor. The view was wonderful and the grounds were very nice as well. I especially loved the huge deck and toom to stroll and gaze at the mountains and water. The huge bed, linens, complimetary toiletries and flat screen TV made the room very comfortable and inviting. The complimentary candlelight dessert and buffet breakfast were great bonuses. We were a little bummed that the sunset cruise was at 5:00 because it was still rather sunny and warm out. The water also looked very choppy so we passed on the boat ride this time. The location is great: just far enough away to feel peaceful but only about 20-30 minutes from Sevierville/Pigeon Forge. I would definitely return for another stay!

Beautiful location on Douglas Lake. Staff extremely accommodating, room very clean and housekeeping came every day - very important. Daily breakfast buffet is nice yet same thing every day. If you stay there more than a few days you'll want a different breakfast. Nightly desserts delicious and unnecessarily massive, with the same selection of four every day. One dessert is enough to share with as many as four people. They encourage guests to mingle, a nice touch.
The parking lot in front is daunting to get in and out of, due to traffic only feet away on the curvy Douglas Dam road. You must be very careful. I recommend parking towards the marina, so it's possible to see cars approaching from the hill to the west. We trailered in our boat. The staff and in particular Greg the general manager included a slip during our stay and trailer parking. However, there is no on-site boat ramp. Greg helped us put our boat in the water at a primitive launch a mile or so down the road. On departure we loaded at Mountain Cove Marina.
The very large main deck has a gas fire pit and them providing smores ingredients on request is a nice touch. We stayed in the Lincoln Condo suite. It's expensive depending on time, etc. though it's huge and more than enough room for four people. Its private deck overlooking the lake was wonderful, though we thought it would have been nice to have some lounge chairs. We didn't use the provided hot tub because the weather was already in the 90s when we visited.

No hot water 2 different times during the weekend, once Saturday morning and again Saturday night. Water pressure in the bathroom shower and sink is very poor. The Inn is nice and clean and the Anniversary suite was also very nice. The area including Douglas lake is great. Just disappointed in the afrorementioned since the room is not cheap, hot water and decent water pressure should be a given.

We booked 2 nights at the Inn and then added a 3rd because we felt so comfortable here. It was quiet and peaceful and our room had everything we needed. We were in the Honeymoon suite. The bed was huge and mattress was great(firm). The breakfast was included every am and was great with bacon, eggs, biscuits, gravy, etc. We also had complimentary pizza on the first night after arriving. We had 3 boats cruises on Lake Douglas which were very enjoyable, offered free at 5pm daily. Then the desserts were served in the dining room and they were excellent. The portions were so huge we had to share and even took a second one to our room. The staff and owner Billy were all very friendly and so accommodating. If you are looking for a romantic quiet getaway this is a place you should strongly consider. We will definitely go back.

To start off these are the nicest staff I've ever encountered. I felt my room was small, but had a large bathroom, the water never got hot enough for me but I like it really, really hot. The hour cruise was nice, and the desserts are the best. Breakfast was ok, I loved the bacon. There is one thing that was a con the parking, it right off the road but traffic is busy and fast.

Service was FANTASTIC! Everyone was so great with answering questions, late check-in, complementary water bottles and pop throughout the entire stay, room service, and food service.
The breakfast food is average - large variety but normal buffet food in my opinion. Coffee is really good!
The deck is large and a great place to have a fire or hang out in the sun.
Most hiking spots are within 45 minutes, as well as downtown Gatlinburg. Restaurants, gas, and stores are within 10-30 minutes. Good location overall!

The lake was gorgeous, deep, and huge with the mountains in the background. The rental people were very kind and the pizza and ice cream were a fun treat. Our rental tube was new looking, but the rope had lots of knots and was very weathered. We had an amazing time tubing in a cove. There were two tanks of gas and it lasted us 4 hours with lots of stopping and starting to switch riders on the tube. Our 19 foot Bayliner ran fine, but the speedometer, depth finder, and radio did not work. A depth finder is important when renting because you don’t know the lake and where it is okay to go. We didn’t want our kids tubing in shallow water and the coves were the place to tube. The main channel was very choppy. The boat was not fully cleaned before we arrived. There were chunks of dirt on the floor, in the seats. It wasn’t horribly dirty, but 10 minutes of wiping it down would have made it perfect. We tried to store our belongings and there was no where dry to store them. All the under seat compartments were very wet. With some cleaning and repair, this would be a five star instead of a four star review. We would rent here again.

What a great stay!!!!! We wanted to stay on the water and Mountain Harbor Inn popped up. It is adults only so it was quiet and peaceful. The staff was beyond amazing, so helpful and polite. The amenities are top notch, free wifi, a full breakfast every morning, candle lit desserts (huge portions) in the evening, a free boat tour of the lake and a fire pit for your use. They even provide stuff for smores if you want.
They even provided a pizza for us on our first night there. Every room faces the lake and there is a fantastic view of the Smoky Mountains. The rooms are well appointed and clean. It is about 20 minutes from Pigeon Forge but it is a nice drive. The only issue is it is a little dated on the outside but the next time we are in the area this is where we will be staying!

We rented a 20’ pontoon boat for three hours on Douglas Lake. We had an amazing experience renting and enjoying the boat. We added a tube to our rental and the kids had a blast tubing on the lake!
Free pizza and ice cream afterwards! If you’re in the Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg area, make the short drive to Douglas Lake!

I believe it's the 2nd level
I am not sure. My husband and I stayed in Gone with the Wind Suite. I can't imagine being disappointed with any suite you stay in. They are very nice. They are very clean, comfortable and spacious. A very relaxing place for a get-a-way. I highly recommend!
