Davy Crockett Campground garners praise for its clean, well-maintained sites and an array of amenities, though availability may be limited during the off-season. The helpful staff and spotless facilities often receive accolades from guests, contributing to the campground's positive service reputation. While the atmosphere is a point of contention—some revel in the lively karaoke, others find noise levels disruptive—the consensus on cleanliness is strong, with immaculate bathrooms and tidy grounds frequently mentioned. Opinions on value and room conditions, however, are split, with some guests questioning off-season rates and room upkeep.

Our reservations for Fall Creek Falls fell thru due to COVID-19. I’m so glad we found this campground instead! Our campsite was perfect!! We loved the deck and fire pit. The campground was clean with lots of amenities. The kids enjoyed riding their bikes and playing basketball at the basketball court. This campground is still close to a few state parks and convenient to town. Greg and the staff was super nice! We hope to visit again soon.

First, it’s not the easiest to find. If you pass it there’s no turn around. The checking in was easy, the people are very friendly and helpful. They allowed wood fires so we bought a bundle for $5. We only stayed overnight so we didn’t get to explore the lake, but I would highly recommend it for a family camp out.

Incredible staff, incredible location, and an incredible experience. There’s much to do, but no obligation whatsoever. There’s plenty of state parks around the area, and you’re just a few miles away from civilization. If you’re looking for somewhere to escape to, this is the place.

We had a great stay at Davy Crockett. It's very quiet and the camping spot was amazing. The bathrooms were a little far and lackluster but everything else is pleasant and relaxing. We camped in our pop up camper and the staff gave us the perfect spot. The pool was fun for the kids and the distance was just right from the highway so we didn't hear the noise but were quick at accessing all the local amenities.

We picked this campground after having our state campground trip cancelled. The place is undergoing new upgrades. Nothing was opened due to covid , but we felt safe. Kids could get out and play and there is great hiking within 30-60 min which was amazing. We would come back. The seasonal and year round guests were friendly and inviting.

The online check-in was handy and much appreciated. The site included a fire ring and a deck, which was a real bonus...we could step right out of our RV onto the deck! We enjoyed the walking trail. Unfortunately, due to the Co-vid crisis, the amenities were closed, but I think it is a nice campground and I recommend it.

We stayed at Davy Crockett campground for 2 nights, it has the cleanest and nicest bathrooms I have ever seen at a campground. We stayed on a tent site which was spacious. All the RV sites had really nice decks. There is a campstore, pool, hot tub, volleyball, corn hole, basketball, playground, fishing pond. We will definitely be back.

This is a very nice, family type campground with a mix of what seems like permanent residents and overnight campers, like us. The sites were clean and well maintained and it was easy to level on the fresh, fine gravel surface. We walked the campground and enjoyed the exercise. It was quiet there, and with the heavy tree cover and distance from Interstate 40, there is hardly any traffic noise in the campground. We would certainly return.

GORGEOUS. We loved it here. If we ever go back to this area this park is at the top of the list. Staff was very friendly and the park is large and Quiet. Prices were very reasonable. The hot tub amd pool were used by us daily and never crowded.

Also, we had an older (but nice) motorhome and they allowed us to stay here when other parks were snobs about it, which was greatly appreciated. Thanks so much for everything.

The park was nice and had lots of amenities the only issue is all those great things the park has to offer are not available during off season. I have a problem with paying for services that are not available. Considering the cost of our stay was around $60 a night with almost zero amenities I would not stay here again. Although I'm sure the park is a great place to stay during season ,with all the wonderful amenities they offer it would be a great value at $60 a night. The management might consider that during off season when all those amenities aren't available maybe your pricing should change as well. I believe something in the $40 range is more reasonable for what is offered.
