We stayed during the week of Thanksgiving and had a great relaxing time! Our site was awesome. Our neighbors were fantastic and made some new friends. The campground itself is large and detailed with everything you could want. Greg and the staff could not do enough for us, very hospitable and kind people working there, friendly for sure! We will be back, we enjoyed every day we were there! Thank you for everything!

Yes, probably 2/3rds of the campground is permanent residents. Obviously the pool and restaurant were closed due to covid. If you are looking for a two day stop on your way somewhere else, it is an okay campground. As for a vacation, probably not. We stayed there because we were getting ready to drop off our rv to be fixed in nearby Cookeville.

Site was fine but austere, Campground needs major renovation to make it appealing to campers , not just permanent residents. Unfortunate that camps restaurant was closed, it would be an asset to those who stay there.

Do not waste your hard earned money going to this “ Campground “. Out of 50-60 RV spaces , about 40 of them are filled with permanent residents who like to trash their area , and a few who think they own the campground. Very disappointed. To me , this place was more like a glorified Trailer park. The Lake is just a huge pond that Swimming and kayaking are prohibited. DO NOT CAMP HERE. NOT A FAMILY CAMPGROUND LIKE STATED ON WEBSITE! OVER RATED TRAILER PARK !!!

Campgrounds looks nothing like the pictures on the website. I understand pool, cafe, etc being closed because of Covid. Not a good thing (in my opinion) to have transient sites mingled in with full time residents who apparently have no rules for taking care of their property. It is easy off and on to the interstate.
