So first time staying at this park. My first impression is not very good because the road into the park was really rough. It beat us and our trailer to death. Mentioned it at check-in...Reply: "Guys will be here tomorrow to fix the road." There seemed to be a lot of permanent residents. The park reminds me of a fun summer camp with cabins, trailers and a mix of just about everything. It is quite congested. The interior roads are dirt/gravel, Lots of tall trees, well shaded, which means no grass for dog walking. There is a nice recreation area with pool, basketball courts and new playground. It's a real woodsy kind of place where you would expect lots of kids running around, yelling and having fun. But we didn't see any kids anywhere, even in the nice recreation area. It was a little eerie. (Mid July, weekday, late afternoon/early evening.). Although a nice enough park, I wouldn't stay there for any reason simply because there was a trump 2024 flag flying and the only Wi-Fi choices were trump related. We could never get the park Wi-Fi to receive a signal. This could be the right park for the right time but difficult and rough navigations make it a undesirable as an overnight stop.

Very Nice Campground with a great pool area, a basketball and volleyball court and a playground for the kids. A lot of natural areas to discover along with a fishing pond. This campground is a little off the beaten path but well worth the money. Very well lighted at night. Many sites have their own private balconies for dining/relaxing.

Bathrooms are clean and warm. People are friendly. Have washer and dryer. Hot tub and pool doesn't open till Memorial weekend. My fiance had a great time here. Plenty of waterfalls not far to escape to. Real easy to get to.

First, it’s not the easiest to find. If you pass it there’s no turn around. The checking in was easy, the people are very friendly and helpful. They allowed wood fires so we bought a bundle for $5. We only stayed overnight so we didn’t get to explore the lake, but I would highly recommend it for a family camp out.

Great area to visit festivals. Our site was very roomy. Plenty of space for the dogs to walk around. Nice stone fire ring and a deck. Only downer is it’s really close to the highway and you get the road noise. Son visited the showers which were not private enough for him. Just those individual stalls in one big area like a locker room. Also, employees driving vehicles, mowing, and leaf blowing over the weekend and early on Sunday morning.

GORGEOUS. We loved it here. If we ever go back to this area this park is at the top of the list. Staff was very friendly and the park is large and Quiet. Prices were very reasonable. The hot tub amd pool were used by us daily and never crowded. Also, we had an older (but nice) motorhome and they allowed us to stay here when other parks were snobs about it, which was greatly appreciated. Thanks so much for everything.

Stayed 1 night as a stopover. Pros: Location off I-40 very convenient, site S-36 was quiet and plenty long so we didn’t have to unhook. Check-in via email was very convenient. *No employees made in-person contact with us. (See Cons). Cons: *When we arrived we made a wrong turn into what appeared to be all long-term campers. Very difficult to find a place to turn around. Our site was in an area of mixed long/short term campers. Our fire pit was full of trash and neighbor had trash overflowing in their trash can. Overall appearance of campground seemed neglected. Would consider other options if we return to the area.
