So, I needed a quick hotel for a few hours, landed at 11pm in Chattanooga and will meet family in Cleveland for breakfast early. Needless to say, no sense spending a bunch for a shower and bed for 5 hours! So, I looked for a convenient place and seen this and a few other lower priced hotels. I like supporting local, so I chose this for no other reason. I got there around midnight and the young man at the counter was genuinely pleasant and helpful. He assigned me a king room on the second floor. I noticed that the lobby was newly renovated and very nicely appointed. The hallways were equally nice. I entered my room to find a newly renovated room, the temperature was set comfortably and the room was super nice. In fact, I was in a bit of a shock and how nice. The finishes are what made the room. Between the paint on the walls and doors (I know this is a weird observation, but I am in construction) The only "negative" would be the drapes and comforter seemed a bit dated. But the linen and bed certainly were not. I also enjoyed the 4 different pillows, I felt like I had a pillow menu. I turned on the TV for noise while I showered, and was shocked to find like 500 stations.... The room also had a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. I also noticed outside my room across the hall there was laundry and vending! The shower itself was amazing, plenty of hot water at a great pressure. Had a wonderful nice sleep in a quiet room, overslept a bit due to the blackout curtains! Ran downstairs and met the owner, she was a jewel! She mentioned that they have not owned the property long, but were trying to fix it up nicely - they certainly have shown their effort! - I ran through the free breakfast area and grabbed a coffee. I onced over the breakfast, looks like a nice selection of eggs, breads, meats, waffles , juices and cereal. Something for everyone. If I was staying in Cleveland for a day or a week, this would be my ONLY choice. It is convenient to both the highway and what appeared to be every fast food restaurant known to man....

We stayed here for two nights and would highly recommend if you need a place to stay at a very moderate price. Exceptionally clean and comfortable with very friendly staff. Not a luxury hotel, but great value for the $ and had everything we needed. No pool, but we seldom use the pool for a short stay.

We recently stayed at the Douglas Inn and needed items from a drug store to treat an injury. Because of Covid 19 we were reluctant to start visiting area stores. When we inquired about the closest store the lady at the front desk immediately asked what was needed and from their first aid kit was able to assist with all of the items we required.

This was the worst stay I have ever experienced in all my hotel-staying visits. I booked this hotel based on the reviews. Well...be advised, the rooms are not clean, there are roaches, the hallways were never vacuumed the four days my friend and I stayed. Yes, we could have changed hotels. Unfortunately, there was a convention in town and finding another hotel for our price range would have been difficult .
After checking in, we went to the room. It looked like someone had been sitting on one of the queen beds (even though it looked made), the ironing board was left out sitting like it was going to be used, the carpets were most definitely not vacuumed well. I went back downstairs to the front desk and told the attendant what I found. He checked out the room, then took us to another one.
The second room, the door scraped so hard on the floor I had to try and lift it so I could open it farther to look inside. It was unbelievable that the the hotel wouldn't fix the door. This is a safety issue. If there was a fire inside the hotel and the door was so stuck, the guests might be injured or killed depending on where the fire was located. Heat expands everything. Therefore, the door and floor would also expand leaving the guests trapped. It left black scrape marks on the linoleum. The carpet was a little cleaner, but I didn't look any further since the door would be such a problem.
The third room...the pictures will tell you the rest of the story. We did encounter German cockroaches on our second and third days. Thankfully, there were only three.
Looking around the rest of the hotel where we traveled, the floors were not vacuumed or furniture dusted. The elevator had an odor and not vacuumed.
We noticed that the room attendants looked like teenagers, maybe 16-18 year olds. It's no wonder the rooms weren't clean. I remember when I was a teenager, I hated cleaning even if I got paid a weekly allowance. I had other fun things to do.
If you or a friend have stayed at this hotel and the conditions were much better, I'm glad for you. But if you haven't, please find other accommodations, even if it costs a little extra.

Room was average clean. Bed was like a concrete slab. After 10 minutes I checked for bugs because I itched. But it was the bedding. They don’t do room cleaning while you are there. I had to make multiple requests to get clean towels. The last day they called the room saying the next morning from 8-11 the water would be off for maintenance. However in just a few hours there was no water at all! Very deceptive. Avoid this place!!!

Beware. This place makes their money on scamming guests out of 100 dollars for imperfections in their rooms. They do a "walk thru" when you check,out but neglect to tell you this when you check in. They charged me 100 dollars for a hole in the ceiling. I'm barely 5 foot tall. There's no way I can reach the ceiling. They are scamming guests. These dirty Indians should be in jail for this scam.

Please, please read all reviews very carefully when considering staying at this establishment. While some have experienced decent accommodation there are plenty of us that are pleading with you to stay somewhere else. We are not a fancy family, but we do expect clean and functioning rooms when we stay at a hotel. Broken stained furniture, old food in freezer, and a broken shower valve were all part of our unfortunate stay. Plus, roaches in stairwells and unhelpful staff that were not able to provide additional bedding for the pull-out. We were given mattress covers instead of sheets and blankets. Management is not onsite and front desk staffing is unauthorized to provide refunds or discounts. We were promised a 30% discount, but only received 20 %.

After reading several reviews with scores in the 8s, I decided to try this hotel. It was $50 cheaper than our normal hotel. The air conditioner worked, the bed was fine but this morning I killed two small roaches in the bathroom area. Should have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express.

They have bed bugs. Do NOT stay here. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else cleaner. This place is disgusting. The kid up front gave us a new room because we were getting bit at 4 in the morning. Regardless, shouldn’t have been getting bit in the first place. The hotel seems clean until you move furniture and get bit multiple times by bed bugs. The girl at the front desk was aggressive and rude when I made her aware. When she called management, it seemed like this is not the first time they have been made aware of bed bugs in their motel.
