    Great stay!
The hotel is located in lookout valley and only a short drive to popular attractions like Ruby Falls and Rock City. The view from our room was great, looking out at nearby mountains with the room being quiet and well equipped. Would certainly stay here again if visiting the area.

    Beautiful, upscale feeling
This Hampton is absolutely gorgeous with a covered patio, outdoor fireplace, and incredible views of the mountain. The stone work on the outside of the hotel blends in with the setting beautifully. The rooms on the front side of the hotel provide stunning views of the surrounding area. While the room layout is a little different than others, it lends to the overall outstanding impression of this property. We would definitely stay again.
Thank you for your glowing review Patricia! I'm so happy to hear that we have provided you with a memorable stay at our property. Thank you for choosing to stay with us, and I hope we are able to welcome you the next time that you are in the area.

    Clean, clean, clean
The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly. My wife and I recently stayed there for 2 nights and it was our first time away from home since the Covid Pandemic shut everything down in March. We were a bit apprehensive about travelling but it was obvious this hotel took every precaution to keep things clean and sanitized. The rooms were clean and sealed to demonstrate no one had entered the room since it was cleaned. The breakfast bar was very neat and clean with tasty grab and go items. Overall, the staff's attentiveness to safety precautions put our mind at ease and made our stay enjoyable. They set a standard that we did not see at some of the other locations we stayed at and we were very appreciative. We would stay there again.
Dear M1299XFmikem, Thank you for taking the time to share your review of the Hampton Inn Lookout Mountain. We are so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay with us and do hope you will visit us again soon.

Welcomed by friendly clerk (Anita) and quickly checked in. Comfortable beds, convenient USB ports and plugs on nightstand. Plenty of towels. Breakfast was great with a good mix of cold/dry and hot items. Waffle maker! Outside Pool wasn’t open for season yet. Enjoy!

The stay was outstanding. The hotel is extremely clean. The beds are remarkably comfortable and the pillows were fluffy. I felt like I was staying in a very exclusive resort instead of a regular hotel room. Highly recommend!

A nice representation of the brand. The room was clean and mattress was fairly comfortable. Fridge and microwave in the room and internet tv. Had an indoor and outdoor pool. Close to shopping. And some fast food. The price was reasonable for the area.

So up-to-date! Clean, friendly - nice amenities. Can't say enough about the excellent air conditioner - whisper quiet and super effective. Added bonus: the breakfast was above average with small touches that made it better than the usual fare.

Honestly we had a rocky stay. Overall the hotel is nice, clean, and everyone is very friendly and breakfast was great. But the air conditioning unit was messed up in our room ended up having to switch rooms which moved us from the floor with our youth group to a different floor from everyone else. Not that big of deal I guess, but we had booked these rooms 3 months ahead of time so our kids could all be together (we had 11 rooms) The room they switched us to, one of the beds was broke, and you could barely move your foot without it squeaking, which was all night long for 2 nights and the water didn’t hardly drain in the shower. But the second night was the hardest of all, because apparently there was a Bike Rally held in the parking lot, they had roped off the whole side of the parking lot making it very hard to park. They were out there all night long, at 1:30 AM the music was so loud and there was so much partying going on… we could hear it ALL. Then at 3:30am there were people sounding off their pipes (between the two hotels) making it impossible to sleep. It probably wouldn’t have been so bad if they hadn’t made us get out of the pool by10pm… but the bikers could party all night long keeping everyone awake in 2 hotels… I know there was not much they can do about it, but I do wish I could have let us know that our youth group was also going to be there with the Bike Rally.

This is the first time I ever felt indifferent or ambivalent about a hotel property. I equally found pros and cons but unfortunately wasn’t sad to leave. I think for the area it is a good find. Close to the expressway and 10 minutes ish away from main town attractions. We were most thankful that front desk staff suggested The 1885 Grill for dinner. We made nice memories there and food was delicious. Safety tip: make sure you have your key on you to get in and out of pool, fitness room etc. at night, avoid going down the hill near the gas station, other hotel and liquor store. If you do travel down, go with someone and keep your doors and windows locked. We encounter a few unsavory people at close proximity to us. This is definitely not related to the hotel directly and they can’t do much about it just surrounding property things to be mindful of at night. There is a Wendy’s, Walmart and Logan’s Roadhouse right across the way as well. Room and check in: luggage carts are first come first serve and go missing for hours at a time. Staff states there is nothing they can do about this. There was a $20.00 incidentals deposit required to be put on a card until 3-5 business days after. upon arrival we were told the room we booked actually was not available any longer and they did not know why so they switched us to what they said was a great view - it was not a great view but thankful to see a glimpse of the hillside. Our room had half a roll of toilet paper when we got in so we asked for more. Coffee machine was broke/missing the tray for pod and carpet was ripped up a bit between where it starts and where the tiles are but clean. Tv had streaming available and live tv. Refrigerator and microwave in room worked well. Beds: extremely high and we felt they were smaller than our queens at home for sure. I was traveling with a handicapped person and the beds almost were a deal breaker for us. I would definitely ask about this before booking depending on your needs. Bathroom: clean. Nice vanity area. Shower is a deeper tub with curtain not walk in. Breakfast: breakfast alternates food items during seating and days without warning. Delicious blueberry waffle option with adorable toppings station was the best. Everything was correct temperature. Extra room available if main dinning area is full. They give out cookies or snacks sometimes at a table in the lobby. Coffee while appreciative it’s available needs an upgrade. Parking: free. Handicapped available. Can park near great mountain and pool view. It’s a small lot. Pet friendly hotel. Lots of dogs with owners in all spaces. Pools: Great view. Fun mushroom sprinkler. The fast slide empties you to 3 feet of water so be safe. Indoor pool is deeper. They have handicapped accessible chairs for the pool. The stairs were unusually deep into the bottom and lip around the pools stuck out far. Lots of seating and towels available. Bathrooms located by pools too. Pool area clean. Ice machine areas are available. It seems for some reason people like to leave their wet pool towels by them. There was a mountain of wet towels that sat by the ice machine our whole visit. Maybe it was just a one time thing but would hope staff is walking around enough to see this and remove it. Housekeeping is not everyday unless you ask for it. This is common in hotels now. We prefer not to have housekeeping come in during the stay so just ask the front desk if you need toilet paper, towels and so on. Overall the hotel could recommend just missing that something.

It seemed like the mattresses were on springs or frames that bounced every time some one turned! Not a restful or quiet night at all. Keys were hit or miss (to indoor pool and room) even with key re-issue, still had problems. Winners were outdoor pool, with slide and large water stations, and breakfast selection. Personnel were nice, furnishings of hotel were dated. A bit difficult to get to, drive went up and around with small signage. Unsure that I would stay again, given the price and newer hotels in the area.

As a Hilton Diamond Member we are always grateful to find a location that is convenient, affordable and honors the Hilton pledge by keeping a top notch hotel. We are very pleased with this family friendly location. The staff was helpful, professional and friendly. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The breakfast was good with a large variety. The indoor and outdoor pool are super fun for kids of all ages. The outdoor pool even has a water slide. The night we stayed was super busy. This presented some interesting challenges that the great staff worked to overcome. Our biggest challenge was the noisy kids in the room above ours. We loved so many aspects of this hotel and would stay here again. But we would definitely recommend staying in a room on the 4th floor at end of hall as it’s the quietest. Otherwise- we give this hotel 5 Stars ⭐️
