The RV park is maintained very well. Grass is mowed and edges trimmed up. The fenced in dog area is a nice plus. The site we had gave us plenty of room for our toy hauler and truck. It was level, had gravel and was clean and dry.
The store had basic supplies for RV's. Also had a good selection of cold drinks. If you need food items or other supplies, there is a Dollar General right across the road. As one employee said, it is hard to compete with Dollar General.
The propane was very reasonably priced. They have wood for a campfire as well.

This campground was very convenient to I-75 in Chattanooga.(East Ridge). We were there to attend a soccer ⚽️ tournament with our grandkids at Camp Jordan which was only about 3 miles away. The grounds were well maintained & the bathrooms were excellent. There are some full time campers/ homes, but they were separate from the transient campers/RV's and were neat. The only downside we experienced was when we first arrived the office was closed & we went on to our site. There had been some earlier in the week & water was standing around our site. The area is lower on the back site. The next morning the staff moved us to a drier spot. Sandra, in the office and Kevin, in maintenence were very helpful. I would recommend this Campground as a stop over going north or south. When else can you sleep in a Civil War Battlefield. The Battle of Chickamauga!

We stayed here for one night as we were passing through the area. We had a nice pull-thru site with full-hookups that was long enough to accommodate our 38' motorhome plus our SUV that we were towing.
This was a great place to stay for a stop-over. It gave us an opportunity to fill up with water, dump our holding tanks, etc.
There were picnic tables and fire rings on each site but I would definitely consider this an RV Park rather than a campground. The sites are very narrow.
We took the opportunity to explore downtown Chattanooga while we were there and we appreciated the proximity of the campground to the downtown.
We stayed here in April and paid just under $60 for one night.

We called the morning of 02/19/2021 to stay that evening while on the road traveling to Florida from Wisconsin. We were delayed a week traveling due to snow and ice in Kentucky and Tennessee and flash flooding in Chattanooga and Georgia states the week prior. Holiday Travel Park was available to accommodate us that evening after letting her know we would be arriving between 7 and 8 that evening. They told us the park would be closed at that time but there will be a packet on the door with your information on site number, etc. We did arrive around 8:00 that evening and did find our information packet and proceeded to our site. As we are driving to our site, we see all other sites are full of water with picnic tables literally under water up to the seats of the tables. I am sorry, but we are not new to camping and do have a permanent site on a river in Wisconsin which flooding does occur at times at certain sites, but the courtesy of our campground where we stay, they do not rent out sites at all that have any standing water. We were traveling with 2 dogs and as I my husband attempted to set up in this mud hole/water, I walked around the campground with the dogs to check if there was higher ground/less water. The entire campground was still flooded from the week before torrential rain. We decided to leave and find a wayside to sleep at rather than deal with all the mud/water. We put the packet back on the door and called the campground the next morning to let them know we did not stay there. They said they would refund all but $10 of our money. Needless to say, they did not return our money at all. Very poor customer service for multiple reasons. Terrible customer service!

This had been a privately owned park with owners on site. Not any more.
The front desk was not at all helpful to the point of being a pain. More later.
The prior owners left the campground in good condition, and much of that remains. It has cable TV, but SD signal only. Lineup does NOT include MLB or NFL network. It has WiFi, but dial up speeds. I got good speed once at 3 AM. My first site (120) was gravel and absolutely level. The second site (one night )(112) was off 3 - 4 inches side to side.
The north side of the camp is all monthly - permanent residents with larger lots. The south side are smaller transient lots. Almost all are pull through. All are FHU, some 30A and some 30/50A.
I reserved a 30A pull through on line a week before arrival because it was all that they had available. The morning of our arrival, they called to say I could not stay on a 30A site with a 50A FW. They were sure I would draw too much power, and blow a breaker to shut down the entire row of campers. They basically said I was too stupid to keep my power usage below 30A. My power usage on my 50 amp sites never exceeded 25A. I argued with them for 10 - 15 min on the phone to get them to move me to a 50A site, but it was only available for 3 nights. IF they had a cancellation, MAYBE I could stay a fourth night. They did have a space for me Friday night, but I had to pack up and change sites to site 112. The person who occupied my previous site, 120, arrived late and left early the next morning. There is no reason they could not have allowed me to stay on site 120 and put the overnight guest on site 112. The front desk were total jerks over the entire ordeal.
And the playground was closed.
I will NEVER stay here again!!

Lawnmower debris in my face and legs! I will not return for any future stays to this place. As we were unhooking and tying up up power, water, and sewer the man riding the lawnmower kept circling us, while we were ON the site. We were NOT past checkout time. He repeated 3 times blowing debris in eyes, face, and all over my legs.

This park has a lot going for it because it is very convenient to the interstate and to Chattanooga. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The park is clean and quite. Most sites are pull through and we had no problem with our 40’ fifth wheel. With that being said the park needs some maintenance, The roads are terrible when it rains. Large standing water holes and standing water on some of the sites. The tent area is completely underwater. This place needs some gravel everywhere. It has rained a lot but these water holes are huge. The price per night with no discounts is $49.00. At that price we should not have to pull our unit through small lakes. I hope they will work on this as this really is a nice historic park.

By all appearances I expected this rv park to be one of the better ones we’ve stayed in but it certainly wasn’t. The sites were fine and the location pretty cool with the history of the area. We normally stay in more remote areas so I was really looking forward to being closer to civilization (cell service, WiFi, restaurants, shopping, etc.). However, this place had the worst WiFi of any park we’ve stayed in even though it’s right in town! In this day and age there’s absolutely no reason the WiFi is so bad especially when the park is deserted (not including the long term residents end of the park).
The other big problem was the street racing going on night after night either on the interstate or on a street close by. It was unbelievable! We experienced it up close and personal on the interstate the night we arrived but had no idea it was a nightly occurrence. And speaking of noise, we had one day to hang out at the campground and the staff worked through the day with some kind of loud equipment out our window (I think trimming trees and mulching them).
The only reason I gave it two stars is because the sites were technically fine but I will never stay there again.

We stayed here for 10 nights in July. The place is quiet even though it is off of a busy two-lane road and occasionally planes fly overhead. I enjoyed waking to the sound of birds singing in the morning. The one time I went into the camp store/front desk I was greeted warmly and given helpful information about nearby attractions. The bathrooms were always clean and air conditioned. There were six showers rooms that were very nice and very clean, tops on my list!

This was our third time at this campground so I guess it can't be too bad. It's actually very nice but there are some drawbacks.

1) Like most places, they make no attempt to enforce barking dog rules. They don't want to annoy the bad guys, so they're willing to make the good guys suffer.

2) They are right next to a drag strip that is very active on weekends. Enough said?

3) There is a lot of airplane noise. I assume they're on a flight path to the airport?

4) As others have pointed out, they just don't seem to have any concept of
customer service. I called four times over the course of several hours and each
time was put on terminal hold. The first time, after being on hold for five minutes,
I was then told to leave a message. I left a message that wasn't returned after 24
hours. Without going into exhaustive detail, this caused us a great deal of
inconvenience and angst. When I brought it up to the lady about the message
she said, "We haven't gotten to those yet." This is a huge campground and they
bring in thousands of dollars every day. They can afford to put in another line
and hire a college kid to answer it. Also, there was a dryer not working in the
laundry that they knew all about. They readily gave my wife her dollar back but
an hour later they still hadn't bothered to put a sign on it.

5) The sites are crammed very closely together and it actually was somewhat
entertaining to watch the people with big trailers and fifth wheelers try to get
their rigs parked while avoiding the vehicles parked part way into the road.
