I was actually supposed to go camping at some state park midstate, but took a wrong turn based on bad directions and ended up outside of Chattanooga instead. My go-to in the area is Cloudland Canyon, but they were full, so I just drove along I-59 looking tor a sign, and round one for Raccoon Mountain. They had a site... More

My husband and our two young children stay in a cabin and overall it was clean and what we expected. Remember its is small but adequate and you wont find a Better deal being so close to Downtown. We are allready planning on going back. Pool was Awsome clean. Staff was friendly. Beautiful family friendly campground. Only thing is floor... More

In general there is nothing wildly wrong with this RV park. It is simple it is basic it is an RV campground. The lots are not level whatsoever so be prepared to bring lots of timbers for leveling. The pool is small-ish but nice the shower room is small-ish but functional. The camp store is minimalistic and closes fairly early.... More

I was there from April 21 to April 28. Very nice area. Not too out of the way. Facilities were nice and clean and the campground is very quiet. Would definitely go back 1st chance I get. I would recommend this campground to anyone seeking a nice quiet getaway.

Camped here with my wife, our son (41) and grandson (10) to celebrate our son's birthday. Campground was good. We had a pull-through site. Level but gravel, not paved. Hookups were about 30 feet behind the spot where we had to park to use the concrete patio. The Raccoon Caverns were on site, along with panning for emeralds and fossils.... More

We stayed this past weekend for 3 nights (Thurs, Fri and Sat). When we arrived, the campground was about 20% occupied. Over the weekend, I would say that this number went up to around 75%. First impression of the park, is that it looks similar to a KOA in that the spots are close to one another with not a... More

Very good place to stay. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. We were in cabin number 6 and didn't mind spending a few dollars more to get air conditioning, half bathroom, microwave and mini fridge. It would be a little tight for four people, but for the two of us it was great. We didn't spend much time in... More

For people and families who love spending time outdoors with a great view! We stayed in a small cabin. It was basically for sleeping. Most of our activity there was outside exploring, barbecuing meals on a grill, talking and playing games on the picnic table. It forced my high tech family to put away their devices and interact together. Thanks... More

We stayed on the group camp site, which is the open field behind the office area. Our scout group had about 30 people or so. Unfortunately, the spigots in the area had been shut off because of an issue with a campfire affecting the underground pipes. Otherwise, the area was nice. Bathrooms have a combination code to get in and... More
