Don’t come here if you want a good nights sleep. Loud and hot. You can hear everything in your room and it’s almost impossible to sleep. I know it’s a hotel and sometimes you can hear things but dang these walls must be thin. At one point I thought I would get better sleep in my car I feel so ripped off. Me and my husband came for a weekend trip so obviously on a Sunday morning after a night out we would have loved to sleep in but for some reason our alarm clock and everyone else’s around us went off before the sun came up... Ok simple mistake they should reset them for guest after each stay but ok it’s fine. Then the guy beside us slept through his for almost 40 mins and with COVID the front desk couldn’t Help me about that they tried to call him and of course he didn’t pick up. Ok whatever I’ll deal with waking up early one day. Well Sunday night might have been even worse the people above us sounded like they had a crazy party last night ALLL NIGHT LONG and a dog was barking...Also guess what happened again after being up all night from the above people that lovely alarm clock in the next room started going off and guess who slept through it again our lovely neighbor. Front desk was nice but obviously couldn’t do much about the people. Soooo thanks for making us some irritable people this weekend without our sleep main purpose of a hotel.

Been here four times, gonna have to give up on the place. Everytime was an issue, some minor, but all annoying. First trip, the hotel gave our room key to another couple and they walked right into our room. Second trip, some of the outlets didn't work so it made hair drying impossible. Third trip, there was feces splattered on the wall next to the toilet. Fourth trip, the room fridge wasn't working. It's just aggravating here. The place is located near my two favorite beer breweries so we would go here to walk but im just giving up.

Dear Dormir, Thank you for your feedback. It is unfortunate to hear that your past couple of experiences with us fell beneath your standards, as well as our own. Please know that if you run into any issue, our team is happy to help so long as we know that there is an issue to resolve. Nonetheless, we know we let you down, and we are keeping your remarks top-of-mind as we continue to improve. We hope for another opportunity to impress you should your favorite breweries call your name again.

I was really looking forward to checking out this "Ascend Collection" hotel from Choice. I came and saw and will not be back. - The area is rough with panhandlers hanging out just off the properyy. I waited behind a homless person to get access to the water cooler in the lobby; said cooler and elevator are right by the entrance doors while the front counter is hidden a bit further back. This allows for anyone to enter and have access to the hotel without first passing by the lobby. Apparently they lock the doors at some point at night as there is a note instructing you to use the intercom to page the desk or use your card for access. - You can tell it is definitely an old hotel that has been "remodeled"; the elevator is still dirty and busted. The decor and lighting are so dark you really can't assess cleanliness, I'm wondering if that is a part of the strategy. - The smell of marijuana reeked the hallways. I found the signs posted all over the lobby "if we smell marijuana coming from your room you will be evicted" amusing, unprofessional, and concerning. First red flag I guess. - Good luck sleeping. From 10pm to 4am my floor turned into a hotel party. I am not sure what was going on. People roaming the hallways, slamming doors, shouting, just hanging out having loud conversation, blaring music on cell phones. When I called the front desk (twice) they said they didnt see anything going on, but did notice a lot of people were coming in an out. Well do something about that. Why is that happening at 4am?

We recently stayed there on March 21. The employees were very hospitable, friendly and professional. The room was very clean. Although we did not use the pool, it looked very nice. We would definitely stay there again.

We were greeted by M. Brown. Very friendly after traveling most of the day. Room was very clean and comfortable. Even though the breakfast was quick, it still was delicious. The location of the hotel was a perfect distance from the main road we were travelling on.
