So this was our first visit to a hostel. We stayed in one of their semi private rooms. Best sleep ever declared my husband, who was extremely skeptical when I told him where we were staying. I'm not sure the other guests felt that way when he started to snore! The rooms are very clean as are the bathrooms. The... More

This is the cleanest, nicest hostel I have ever stayed in. Beds are super comfy. They have beer for sale in the lobby. Provide eggs and toast and coffee for breakfast. They are also more than happy to assist in planning any outdoor adventure. I would stay here again. Wish there were more hostels like this.

This is a brilliant hostel. Bunks have a modicum of privacy with the wraparound curtain. Kitchen is well stocked, good fresh coffee is always available. Typical hostel breakfast. Nice bars in the area, knowledgeable staff able to recommend places to you. Parking nearby. A lovely chilled out fire pit outside, where you can read and enjoy the ambience.

This hostel is green built recieving LEEDs award. It is clean, efficiently run with welcoming hosts. All linens are provided, beds are comfortable and breakfast selections are locally grown and organic supporting local bakery and farmers. The best of all are the friendly and courteous clientelle we met during our stay. We were in Chatanooga participating in the 3 State/3... More

My husband I recently came to Chattanooga for a quilting event and needed a place nearby to stay. The Crash Pad came highly recommended and I'm thrilled we stayed there. It's very secure, clean, quiet and very well maintained. The staff are all FABULOUS and I can't say enough wonderful things about them. We had a private room, but the... More

Such a cool place. I stayed in one of the bunks and I loved it! The staff are all really nice and accommodating. Very, very clean. The outside area is super nice. Also the price is most definitely GREAT! I would highly recommend The Crash Pad. I will be going several more times this year to run the trails in... More

This was our second experience with a hostel within two weeks. We enjoyed both but we loved the security (locked doors), staff, location, rules posted in the sleeping areas, the separate bathrooms for W & M, a variety of ages (we were two seniors), and so much more. This will be a tough act to follow. We were within walking... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! This hostile might have been slightly overpriced but you definitely got your money's worth. Friendly staff, linens provided, free breakfast, and great location. The common area, living quarters, and bathrooms were all very clean. The place had a cool vibe and the building is LEAD certified. My privacy was well respected and I felt... More

Far superior to most hostels, this new-ish facility is located right by the Choo Choo Hotel in a vibrant area close to downtown. After dark it may be a little sketchy, but we felt secure in and around the facility. The adjacent bar, associated with the hostel, can be noisy, so complain to the hostel staff is you're being disturbed.... More

Thank you for your honest response, we really appreciate a detailed review. We knew going into building a bar and restaurant next door that there could be some noise issues and would like to remind any of our guests or future patrons that we are on call even after our desk shifts, and can always come back to the hostel... We loved everything about the Crash Pad. First off, the staff is amazing - special shout-out to Bethyn for being so cool and helpful!! The architecture of the place is beautiful. It's super clean, modern, and comfortable. The bunk rooms do offer some privacy with curtains for each bed; the shared bathrooms are very clean and, because the hostel isn't... More
