Beds were comfortable and staff was nice. But the hotel really needs to be updated. There's a one way street in front of the hotel...when you come off the hwy there's no signs to guide you. Just confusing. Next time I will stay closer to downtown.

As with everywhere we stayed in the South, everyone was friendly and accommodating throughout our stay of 2 nights. The room itself was comfortable with all the facilities you would expect from this type of hotel. Aircon was at a perfect temperature on arrival (not too hot or cold) and worked perfectly during our stay. Breakfast exceeded expectations and filled...

The Comfort Inn Downtown is not downtown. It is several miles south of downtown, just off Interstate 24. The room was clean. The breakfast was good. Be careful pulling out of the parking lot...you can only turn left (there is no sign indicating that!).

We recently stayed here for 3 nights. I will try to detail (as thoroughly as possible) the good and the not as good: Location: This hotel is close to the interstate (exit 178) but not necessarily in the heart of the city center. Its within 2 miles of the Tennessee aquarium and the downtown riverfront area (Coolidge Park) and pretty...

Overnight stop on our way north so chose this property. Not a bad room, but could use a bit of attention. AC filter must be dirty as the room was rather smelly. Room cleaning could be better, bed spread was stained. Bed was comfortable however. Ask for a room away from the freeway side. Traffic noise is significant and it...

Location location is what sells real estate they say. Well this hotel is not in the city nor in a busy area of other hotels and restaurants. It does however offer an extremely nice staff and very nice rooms. The HVAC system works well and there is good pressure of hot water for a good shower. Breakfast is very good...

My husband and I and our Cairn terrier, Finley, were driving back home from FL and this was our midway point - The staff at check-in was very friendly and helpful - and recommended a great restaurant. The room was comfortable, but it's quite noisy at night because this hotel is located so close to US 24. It sounded like...

Tough to rate. On the one hand, its a fair trade: a clean bed for a great price. Right off 24. On the other hand, its deceiving to call this a "downtown hotel". It is close to NOTHING ... trust me, I walked around (which I do NOT recommend, especially at night). The walkability is terrible, and made worse by...

I booked this hotel specifically because I use choice rewards and I booked a free night and we were traveling home from Florida and this was our half-way point. We needed a pet friendly hotel and while the $35 fee was a little bigger than usual I didn't mind. We checked in late and were welcomed by the friendly front...
