A spacious and comfortable room with a king size bed, ac, a fridge and a microwave. Great shower and bathroom. Good price for what you get. Check-in a bit slow, although we were the only ones there. The room was clean. Bathroom looks new and renovated.

We were very pleased. Nice clean room that look recently remodeled. Great price. Easy access from the highway. Great parking for our big camper. Every room is on ground floor. Comfortable beds. Friendly staff

Room was on the cleaner side. Bedding was clean and smelled clean. Room had microwave and refrigerator but refrigerator wasn’t getting cold for my water. Beds were kind of hard but no ones bed is like the one at home so cant complain... front desk man and woman very friendly.. tv was nice. Wasn’t noisy at all and a Walmart was near by. Would stop in again and stay a night or two again if we are in the area.

Neil, his wife, and employees Very Friendly..Rooms,remodeled and Very Clean.Awesome, location with restaurants, convenient stores,and shopping within walking distance. Downtown, Carthage less than a mile away, Antique Stores plenty.

The carpet had something all over it - wouldn't get close enough to try to determine what it was. Furniture looked like it had been picked up off the side of the road. The center of the bed was a good 2-4 inches lower than the sides. Towels & washcloths looked dingy and very old. The overpowering smell of air freshener & underlying funk drove us right back out the door (it was 1:30 a.m. when we arrived) and another 45 minutes down the interstate to find a new room. The attendant refused to refund our money (prepaid 2 nights). Signs everywhere "NO refunds". Said we should have woke him up again so he could "fix it" when we returned the key the following morning. Lovely little town. Residents in the area explained about the reputation of the place. Was told someone would contact us for "help". No reply yet.…

I personally inspected the Budget Inn on Dixon Springs Highway in Carthage Tennessee a few weeks ago. I can say that since Neil, the new owner, has been there he has made many improvements and upgrades to the location. He has been at the location for one year now and I would recommend him as one of our excellent choices for lodging locally. He and his family keep a clean establishment
