Seasonal hotel. Currently closed for the winter season. Hotel opens again on April 2020. Our hotel is located 38 km from Kalamata and 12 km from Koroni, in one of the most beautiful fishing villages in Messinia, Agios Andreas. We offer Mediterranean cuisine in our restaurant with daily fresh fish and traditional Greek dishes. Enjoy your food next to the harbour of Agios Andreas. With the recent renovation we created a beautiful space which, in combination with our experience in touristy services, creates the ideal conditions for pleasant vacation. The hotel is located in the centre of Agios Andreas in front of the marina, literally within a few meters from the seaside.

Detailed Reviews
We stayed in the hotel (five people) for two nights on our journey through Greece for the second time after having loved our stay here two years ago already; and we were not disappointed: The rooms are clean and have everything you want and need, the location is right at the marina with many great restaurants in front (but it's still relatively quiet – only the main street on the other side can get a little lively in the evening/morning), the reception is very warm (every guest gets a fresh orange juice for free – it's a beautiful tradition), there's a nice parking space in a lovely garden area a minute away, a very nice small beach with plenty of parasols and deck chairs (plus a bar) can be reached on foot in two minutes – probably the most important part! – and everyone there seems to be really nice and helpful. And what we actually came back for: The breakfast! It has everything we wanted – fresh orange juice en masse, nice warm dishes and delicious fruits. During the pandemic, you have to wear a mask and a glove, but the experience was definitely above-average nonetheless and I can't think of anything that really bothered me too much during our short stay! VERY fair pricings and the hotel deserves more stars without any doubt. We also visited the restaurant right in front of the hotel which was nearly empty when we arrived and we were positively surprised: The starters were all super tasty and my meal was one of the best I've had here – and that all for little money! I would return at any time... No matter how old or how big the group, this relatively small hotel has the ideal offer. I don't really understand the complaints because I enjoyed every second of our stay (especially because there were no mosquitoes and the Internet was great!); maybe having a big car can be an issue while parking, but even our mini-bus always managed to get by...

What an indescribable experience...! I was welcome by the warm hearted young lady Nikki, which guides my lady and me to our seaside table. After being seated on a table facing the seaside - and breathing in the salty refreshing breeze, we were greeted by the staff. After having heard they’re recommendations we decided to have some white wine, a Greek salad, some Greek specialities and last but not least - a fantastic seafood platter !
That just little experience, from the door to the minute we departed the restaurants premises- we were smiling and indulging every second of the Greek experience before returning back to the arduous city life.
On my next visit hopefully soon, I shall be returning and staying in the hotel as well!

The hotel was beautiful, it is right beside the port and the beach is 150m either side away, The staff especially Anna Maria were excellent, they cleaned our rooms everyday even on a Sunday. George our taxi driver was the best company wherever he took us. I can't express how beautiful the food was, everything was perfection. The views from our room was port side and was breath taking.

A small family hotel. The hotel is divided into 2 wings. The hotel area and the villas area. The hotel area is at a higher level than the villas area and you should sleep there. The hotel staff is very nice and helpful, the hotel restaurant is very good and the breakfast was excellent

We have just returned from a wonderful stay here. It is very peaceful and tranquil as well as being a traditional and authentic Greek village.
The room was good and to a good standard of cleanliness and a lovely view from the balcony.
The food was great, lots of fresh produce, much of which is actually grown in the hotel gardens. The lamb in particular was delicious. The two male waiters were fantastic and very polite.
The staff were very friendly and work very hard to ensure a delightful stay. We met the owner Mr Nikos who was a very friendly gentleman. The lady at reception and Niki who worked in the kitchen were very friendly and worked hard to ensure a delightful stay.
The area is very quiet. If you are staying for more than a few days, it is probably a good idea to hire a car. The beach and sea are lovely- very warm water if you like to swim.

Lovely hotel with all necessary amenities. Outside shaded/sun dining overlooking the harbour with mountain views, so relaxing. Good menu with excellent locally sourced fresh food. Beach a two minute walk from the harbour. Would definitely recommend and return.

My wife and I have eaten here for years. The food, service and staff cannot be faulted. Try the fried zucchinis; homemade Moussaka and the fabulous aubergine shoes; the lovely tomato sauce which accompanies some dishes is a delight and would easily convert the carnivore to vegetarianism. The fish always look bright and fresh though we do not eat them as we find fish 'spooky'.Chunky rustic bread accompanies all meals and the service is excellent, overseen by the owner who holds court at the wooden table near the entrance to the hotel. His son, a really friendly polite young man, works really hard and carries the smooth flow of service in the restaurant.
It has to be also mentioned that the toilets are spotless; automatic lighting, soap dispenser and electric paper towels!!!
We look forward to our visit again.

Amazing value for money. Clean, comfortable and excellent daily room service, with clean sheets and towels alternate days. Free air conditioning and every room has a balcony with either sunrise or sunset views. Staff cannot do enough for you without being intrusive. And that breakfast......lovely variety of goods which changed slightly each day, all to be enjoyed sitting in the most peaceful, sunny terrace watching the catch of the day arrive. Perfect.

We stayed in the Akroyali Hotel for 2 weeks,17th Sept - 1st October 2017.
The hotel was situated opposite a quaint fishing harbour, with a sandy/shingle beach either side.
The breakfasts were lovely, and were served between 8am -11am on the picturesque sea front. You only had to ask and the experienced chef/s would cook things fresh for you:- omelettes, fried/boiled eggs, egg and bacon. We asked for toasted bread every morning. There were yoghurts & honey, cheeses, crepes, homemade walnut sliced cake (delicious). even the Nescafe coffee was nice. All the food was covered up and continuously replenished.
We have been coming to Greece for years, and can quite honestly say that we found it to be the best breakfast ever!
Niki was a lovely girl, polite and most helpful, nothing was too much trouble, and she went out of her way to fulfill your requisites.
Dina the housekeeper (maid) was very good, and kept all areas of the hotel spotless. If you wished, she would provide service every day. Bath towels were changed every other day and the bed linen was changed 2-3 times a week. At the end of our stay, she presented us with a small bottle of Kalamata olive oil, and a jar of preserve.(complementary from the hotel) which was a nice gesture.
We thoroughly recommend this establishment, and plan to return in the near future.
EFHERISTO!

The breakfast is a class for itself, Mr. Nikos the owner told me that the breakfast was like Hilton's!
I told him No! No!, Hilton does not give you fresh orange juice for the breakfast and all the other delicious Greek specialties.

Great taverna next door called Zorbas (we ate here every night bar one) but the food at the hotel is good too.
There is public transport that stops out side the hotel and taxis just around the corner. Not sure about self catering.
I found the same problem,i called the hotel and they can arrange a taxi for 45 euros each way, we fo in October this year, hope this helps
Hello there. No the hotel does not have a swimming pool, but either side of the harbour, there are 2 small beaches, the water is nice and clear. If you are sitting in the Akroyali's hotels outdoor taverna, turn left and walk across the car park, and then onto the sand and shingle beach. Continue, and after about 250 yards you will notice a hotel named the Aggleos Hotel. They will let you use their sunbeds and parasols free of charge.
Also, do try lunch in their taverna, the meatballs, stuffed vine leaves were devine. But seriously, they served one the most beautiful meals that we have ever tasted in Greece.
