Awesome staff and great rooms. My daughter and I visited Days End last weekend and I was very pleased with our experience. It was very well kept and my 9 year old daughter and I loved walking around the campsite admiring the surroundings.
This was a nice campground that was a very convenient stop as we were traveling through the area. I booked through Trip Advisor at a rate of $41 a night. When we checked in the amount was $53.70. They added a $3 booking fee, $5 credit card fee and tax. We would have probably stayed there anyway but I just feel the price was a little misleading.
My husband planned our bucket list trip to South Dakota to see the sites (Mt.Rushmore, Badlands, Crazy Horse, ....) He booked cabin WITH a bathroom. The cabin was very comfortable, cozy, plenty of room for a couple. Had a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. There is a grocery store close, and plenty of places to eat. It was quiet, peaceful. Good location to get to all the attractions. Highly recommend
Put in a space that had a low tree branches for a motorhome when there were 5 empty spaces we could have used space to small rude staff we stayed for two days very poor WFI when we left trailer near exit had blow up sex dolls on fence and dildos on camper window we had are 12 year old granddaughter with us very poor picnic table had rotten boards on them needed replaced they will never get one dime from me again
Large lots. Able to accommodate 80 feet long. We are 45 feet long Newmar pulling a 25 foot trailer. 4 slide outs. No probably parking. Plenty of room in each space. Owners very friendly. Good price. Would stay here again. However if going to monuments, about 150 miles round trip.
Was a great overall experience, cabin had everything we needed, staff was helpful. Will recommend to others and will stay again. Campground is on the edge of Sturgis, very convenient, near the interstate but not noisy.
awsome campground have stayed 3 times during the rallys, cabins twice both suited our needs, .staff is great. security at nite so nobody other than campers get by. beer garden has bands. clean . porta pottys an restrooms cleaned constantly. comming back for next years rally.
I ended up at Days End after another camp messed up my reservation. It was actually difficult to find lodging as it was a busy time and I didn't know my initial plans had fallen through until after I arrived. I initially booked this camp ground on Orbitz but shortly after, I received a phone call from Rhonda saying the cabin I booked was not available. I had booked a cabin with a bathroom but the only cabins available were ones that required using a shared bathroom. She offered me that cabin and then gave me the option of switching to the upgraded one with the bathroom 2 days later when it was available. I did that and she charged me a cheaper rate than Orbitz had advertised. The cabins were cute, very clean. They had a mini fridge, TV and microwave...and the upgraded one had a bathroom and sink with running water. The shared bathrooms were fairly well taken care of and clean and I actually enjoyed the more authentic camping experience. I would recommend this camp ground to anyone wanting to go to Sturgis. They have tents, cabins and places to park RVs. …
We were RVing West this summer and wanted to go through Sturgis (not during a bike fest). This campground was very convenient to many places we wanted to see. Our Site #240 worked perfectly for us during this quiet time at the campground. It's very well kept, had nice laundry facilities and restrooms. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We were able to visit Ft. Meade Museum and Cemetery, Bear Butte State Park, Spearfish Canyon, the DC Booth National Fish Hatchery, Vanocker Canyon, Deadwood, Roosevelt Friendship Tower and the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum and Town of Sturgis easily from this location. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would recommend.
Stayed with Days End Campground and RV Park on our last couple of Sturgis Motorcycles Rally. Very nice place, friendly, clean and safe. Five minutes to downtown Sturgis and next to freeway/highway. Our place to stay every Sturgis Motorcycles Rally from now on.
