We are still here, but so happy with everything I wanted to write a review! We drove 14 hours overnight with a screaming baby to arrive in SD. Because of this our arrival into Sioux Falls was mistimed and we got here 3.5 hours before checkin. Happily, they allowed us to check in early at no extra charge! It was... More

One night stay. Room is ok, but bathroom is tiny with absolutely no countertop which is pretty annoying. They should have carved off a few square feet from the (ample) room to give the bathroom a bit more space. Service at the front desk was perfunctory and a bit cold compared to most hotels/motels I've stayed at in this area.

Dear rbdglj, So sorry to hear the staff was a bit cold, it is a comment I don't hear, but we have some new staff and it sound like we need additional training. The bathroom is compact, I wish it was a little larger, but it does the job. Thank you for your business! And thanks for your imput. Randy More

We stayed for one night. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The stairways up to the second floor were wide and easy to navigate. The continental breakfast was good and we ate in the courtyard area which was nice. We did not use the pool area because we arrived late and left early but I was very... More

I very much appreciate the manger for meeting our needs. I have traveled with a client every year for the last 6 years. I have a routine I follow, my request were not listed on our reservation from when I called. The room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom updated and I enjoyed the medi charge box. The breakfast was... More

The pool is the main attraction. Unfortunately it got so loud and crowded. It seemed that every guest had young children to take to the pool. The slide is great for teens and pre-teens. The kiddy pool looked like fun for that age group too.

The hotel is older but well kept. Becki and Greg are great at the front desk. The courtyard is above and beyond comfortable. I didn't checkout the water slides but there is a lot of action in that area. Quiet neighborhood with a great cafe across the road!

While listening to the loons in Minnesota, I wanted to give a shout out to the Dakotah Lodge in Sioux Falls. I called the day before and Becki helped with some rates and info. Very nice and helpful. The location is real easy on and off the freeway. Makes coming and going less stressful. They recently put in a new... More

Loved our king size bed. Slept great. The kids loved the pool area. The entire family liked eating the continental breakfast outside in the courtyard. If we come back to Sioux Falls, we will plan to stay at Dakotah Lodge.

Nothing special here. Lots of truckers and workers stay here, but it was clean and had a decent breakfast, better than what I would have expected for the money. The lovely atrium where they serve breakfast beats the heck out of most value hotels' breakfasts where you're crammed in a tiny room. All in all, a good value. Nothing spectacular... More

Upon driving up to the hotel I was impressed as the exterior looked modern and the location was good. The first negative was when I got to the room I opened the toilet lid and there was a wad of toilet paper in there. Not a big deal but makes one wonder how thoroughly the rooms are gone through after... More
