This was one of the nicest B&B's I have ever stayed in. The owners were very nice an accommodating. Our room was nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful and quite tasty. There is a wine bar that is open in the evenings and a restaurant on the property that i did not eat at but...

We stayed at the Black Forest Inn when we visited Mount Rushmore, only a short drive away. The Inn is situated at the edge of a forest where you can walk before dinner (or after!). The rooms are very traditional and the host friendly. Breakfast is served at 8.30 so if you require an earlier start, this may be difficult...

My husband and I stayed in Serenity for four nights. I give them 3 1\2 stars. Don and Bruce were good hosts. Location is perfect for black hills attractions. Checkin was quick but Don was trying to juggle checkin and the restaurant. Serenity is on the first floor facing the parking lot. Caution: this room is right next to the...

We stayed as a 5th Anniversary get-away, and it was our first B&B experience. What an amazing experience! We enjoyed the rustic yet gorgeous building, and especially our room! Initially, the lack of cell service was disconcerting, but it quickly proved the best part of our weekend. The breakfasts were spectacular; good, hearty food, which left us asking for seconds....

I found this Inn when I stumbled on an article about eating good in the Badlands and boy are we glad I did. We were looking forward to a fantastic meal on our travels and it was fortuitous that the restaurant was connected to the inn, which we also needed for the night. After a long day of visiting the...

The Black Forest Inn was our first stop on a tour of South Dakota and Wyoming, and what a place. This has to be one of the best B&B's we have ever stayed in. Superb surroundings, excellent food, although we were lucky to be on on the last night of the restaurant being open. If you are coming next season,...

This B&B is the perfect location for exploring the Black Hills and Mt. Rushmore. We stayed in the Tuscan Romance room for 2 nights and found the room to be very spacious and comfortable. The breakfasts were great - but what we really appreciated was the on site restaurant. The food was excellent and it was so nice to just...

My daughter and I stayed at this B&B after seeing Mount Rushmore. The B&B is nestled in the beautiful forest. I went for a walk as soon as we arrived. The room was very comfortable with a great bed, AC, wifi, TV and a jacuzzi outside. There is a also a restaurant on premise where we had a great meal...

What a lovely experience. We spent two nights in this hideaway in the trees and loved the ambience, the solitude and the owners and guests which exuded warmth and fun. The accommodations were large and had all the amenities you might need. The breakfasts were wonderful - ask for the stuffed French Toast! The location is on the west side...

All you need to do is read all the excellent reviews that preceded ours. And then book your room. Ron and Bruce will take care of everything else. All we can add is that they have a superb restaurant for dinner that exists right on the premises. No reason to go anywhere else. We stayed for 3 nights in their...
