We have stayed here twice in one month and ---Nope never again would i stay here. Husband booked it -(he stayed here for a year while working out in Rapid City) Dirty, extremely Rude front desk, *No elevator if need one. Rooms are ok size very old, however the Bathroom --- is a joke.. ZERO room for a shower, tubs are so dated they are BLUE, toilets sit so low and so close to the tub - it's bad just bad, everything is wet while trying to shower floor needs your towels to sop up the water, cloth shower Curtin stops nothing. Very disappointed in what we paid and what we got.

Local hotel (not a chain). Great location off I90 and close to lots of restaurants and shops. Decent WiFi. Breakfast includes cereal, bread and Jimmy Dean sandwiches. Rooms are good sized but a little old (ok). Overall, given the price, this is a great value in Rapid City. There is very little masking and social distancing in SD! :(

Found a good deal on Hotwire so I thought I’d try it out. I was greeted by very friendly staff. The bathroom was clean. That is where the pleasantness stopped. The room was stained, worn and had this weird hole in the wall. Garbage on the floor in a corner. There is not much for sound proofing from the hallway. Until about 1am there was loud voices, yelling, cursing, kid trying and telling adults to shut up and a dog barking. The bed was not comfortable. When I did get to sleep I woke up a lot due to noise and discomfort. I even dreamt bad things about the hotel. Looking back on it, I should have complained, my guess is the pleasant staff would have moved me. I was tired and didn’t want to deal with any of the ruckus outside my room so I stayed but I won’t come back...even for a good deal.

They have bedbugs!!! I have pics and video with time and date.. they sent someone up to kill the one I found in my bed and when i asked for my money back they said they would refund me.. LIES. I checkout and never got the money. I called them later after giving them weeks to put it on the card and now they refused to give my money back.. spoke down to me like I brought the bedbugs and they hung up on me and said they would put ME on a no stay list. Terrible customer service and never staying there again. The manager Connie is the one who treated me like a piece of crap. They also run the grand gateway so beware of these nasty people. 💜

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was adequate ... good Jimmy Dean sausage sandwiches! Good location - Perkins Restaurant right next door. My husband and I were on an extended road trip and this was the best value of any place we stayed. Nothing fancy, but the room has everything you need. If you are looking for reasonable accommodations that are clean and comfortable, I would recommend Foothills Inn.
