We are frequent dinners at the Thursday nite sea food buffet, but lately the buffet is more like a dull potato bar. Four kinds of potato dishes and not much more we found. Where did the fried shrimp go. We love to bring our family there for the buffet on their birthdays but if the food does not get better we will be going elsewhere. Sure hope you can fix this.
The room was fine. The casino was fine. The restaurant in the Casino was fine. But beware - Alcohol is illegal on the reservation. You will be greeted by multiple signs in your hotel room and throughout the building threatening you with fines and prosecution (and being kicked out) should you possess any alcohol. Prohibition 2019 style! You can not possess or consume any alcohol on the entire reservation - including the casino. So you ask yourself, why would you go to a casino with no alcohol, but plenty of indoor smoking? It's a good question...one I can't answer. The machines were very tight according to my friends who were there (I'm not a gambler). The food was slow and average. I paid $20 for a Buffalo burger with fries (add bacon and cheese) and a cup of water - again, no alcohol. Needless to say ... I won't be back. Not ever.…
I stayed overnight on a business trip. The room very spacious and was good for unwinding after being on the road. Some hotels are cramped even if they have a large bed, but this was bigger than some apartments I've seen in my life. The bathroom was huge as well, which made it feel pretty luxurious. I don't think the furniture was extremely comfortable, but the bed was. If the furniture was a little more plush, I would have given it a 4 or 5 star rating, but that took it down a little bit. It's not a problem, but I think it would be disingenous to call it 4 or 5 star furniture. The service was great, and the room had coffee and tea, so it's definitely good for an overnighter or two!
This was one of the 2 grossest hotels I ever stayed in. I would have slept in the car but I had to go to my husband's college graduation the next day in nearby Nebraska. We had lights burnt out, which we had to replace after being given new light bulbs by the staff. The shower was slippery and slimy. There was a sign by the mirror asking guests to refrain from using needles, and if you did use them, to please not place them on the bed or floor to keep the staff safe. The food at the restaurant wasn't good and they were out of everything. I'd never, ever go back.
The casino is great the hotel is clean and well kept, The food in the restaurant was not good the chicken was the best thing on the buffet and it was not really tasty. The cheesy potatoes had no flavor at all, because we only ate their on Fathers Day we do not know if this was a bad day for the cook or what, but we would not eat in the restaurant again.
