Nice Place
First of all, there aren't too many options to stay in Lemmon. However, I had no complaints about this property. Rooms were dated, but clean. Staff was friendly. We had to leave very early in the morning, so I was not able to take advantage of the breakfast.

nice place to stay
very nice accommodations, stayed there on the way home, from a trip, pretty good breakfast in the morning, and a nice swimming pool, lots of historic sites in this town to see, cant say anything bad, about this motel

Great place to stay. Modern. Well maintained. Very clean. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Very good value compared to recent stays at Super 8 and Days Inn. Staff very courteous. Pool and fitness room. We stayed here twice this month in our travels and will definitely stay here again.

Friendly staff and clean room with reasonable prices. Very accommodating for guests that travel with pets. Pool area and water was clean and well kept. They also have a great Continental breakfast. Highly recommended.

Great....Lemmon SD stay!
Clean & comfortable hotel. Pool & hot tub were visible through windows as we checked in. Our room was spotless & bathtub looked brand new...I even took a relaxing soak! Breakfast was good with scrambled eggs, oatmeal & yogurt, nice when options are available for gluten sensitive people. The breakfast area was clean & well maintained with a TV available. We didn’t use the lounge, however cleaver idea for travelers. The only downside was pillows were too hard for me, but usually just travel with my own pillow from home. We will be back!

Great stay.
My wife and I were in town for a American Legion meeting. Our check-in went well. Our room was spacious, clean, and nicely furnished. The pool area looked inviting but we did not take advantage of it. We will stay here again. Travel safe...

Nice place
Very nice place for a tiny little town. All the amenities in the rooms. Pool, fitness room, comfy lobby, nice rooms. The breakfast, that was included in the stay, was great! All the normal continental goodies, plus biscuits and gravy (that was amazing) and french toast sticks. Fresh donuts put out. Was enjoyable. The staff, very friendly. Really a nice place to stay!

Great pool area
My wife and I stayed there over Labor Day weekend. We were impressed with the friendly staff and clean rooms. Everything was nicely organized and the following morning the free breakfast was also great. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We’d stay again.

Comfortable Stay
Our stay at the Dakota Lodge was very comfortable. The room and bathroom were some of the cleanest I’ve ever seen. Breakfast was the standard motel fare. The dining area was also clean and well-maintained. Don’t miss the interesting dinosaur sculpture in town. It is just a short distance from the motel.

Terrible Service
I will say that considering how small Lemmon is, this hotel isn't that bad. That said, it isn't the best. The service was awful. The woman at check-in acted like I was offending her by trying to stay at her hotel. At check-out, I rang the bell, waited five minutes, rang it again, waited five minutes, and then left after searching around for someone to check me out and get a receipt from. The room was pretty average. The bed wasn't the best, and the internet was atrocious, but it was fairly clean and fine otherwise. This place seems fine if you have to stay in Lemmon, but don't make it a destination.
