We were looking for an affordable, pet friendly place that was central to all the attractions in the hills and definitely found it and more. Very clean rooms, community atmosphere, many accommodations including grills and grilling utensils, great friendly and accommodating owners! We found our spot to stay while in the hills!

We stayed here this past Labor Day Weekend, and it was truly a simple, wholesome, great experience. The Lantern Inn is like a little oasis away from home. It feels like home in as many possible ways it can. The owners are amazing. The whole place is great. The kids had a blast running around. There was a huge crew of us razoring and we even were allowed to set up our own cooking area in the parking lot. Such a great place and I can't wait to go back and stay again.

We enjoyed our stay. There are gas, charcoal and wood grills available for use. There is a small poor and hot tub which we did not use. A stream runs through the property with a foot bridge over it so you can enjoy it. They have done updates to the rooms. The shower was completely tiled and decent size. No breakfast. Drew was super nice and friendly.
