We stayed at the Roy Rogers Cabin and it was very comfortable and I liked it was about 3 miles from Hill City which you could get gas, shop and eat and drink. Loved the scenery and the horses and donkey's as my view. We went after Labor Day so the horseback riding was only on Fri and Sat I believe, and no chuckwagon show and pool was closed so if that is important go before Labor Day. We liked the fact that we had a hot tub outside our cabin which 3 other cabins could share and loved having a bonfire pit. It is close to all the major attractions and they have a lovely gift shop at the office. They are under new management and they do not have food there anymore which was a bummer. I liked the patio table and 4 chairs on our deck and enjoyed it in the evening. The negatives about the Roy Rogers little cabin is it is dire need of new carpet, and it is very dark in there, perhaps more lighting, as well as go to Walmart and buy a new shower mat and pitch the old stained one which would make a big difference without alot of expense. Overall I would stay there again.

Came for a family wedding. Had a great time. Accommodations were great, too! Has cute little 4 bedroom cabin with a loft. Full fridge and a little oven. Everything was clean and worked great. Rest of the family stayed in nearby cabins and we all had a lot of fun. The location is beautiful. Loved seeing the horses out back everyday. Kids loved biking around the property and wading in the stream that ran behind our cabin. Would love to come stay again!

Didn’t stay at the ranch but we utilized some of the activities they offered. Horseback riding with Lauren & Patrick was great. Also rented a 1/2 day UTV and took advantage of the awesome trails in the area. People where all friendly and we would recommend it.

Futon in living room was uncomfortable to sit in and was only furniture other than rocking chair and dining room table. There are four bedrooms and eight people. Not enough seating. Tub was stained. Only room air conditioner was in the dining room. No WiFi or cellular service at the cabins. Had to go way over to an outside area to attempt service. Roads were in bad shape. Food only available on Fridays and Saturdays. Minimal storage available. Lots of dirt on floor as we walked in cabin for first time.

We only came to see Brule perform (July 2018) and were not disappointed. The ranch was fairly easy to find. In the future, we might come back and stay at the ranch so we can participate in other activities such as horseback riding.
