Awesome campground! Modern laundry facilities, and a really nice clean pool for the kids to enjoy! Pancake breakfast available ($2.75) if you don't feel like cooking, Schwan's ice cream ( gotta try the blueberry) if you are not counting calories! Large, roomy campsites, ice and firewood available at the office, as is change for the washers and dryers. Dogs on... More

Our family of 5 stayed in a Comfort Cabin. Loved having our own bathroom (bring your own towels, bedding, toiletries). We had a full bed, bunk beds and a table that folds in a full sized bed. All beds are in the one room cabin. The kitchen includes a small refrigerator, toaster, microwave and a Keurig (my favorite amenity!!). The... More

I searched for quite some time for the perfect spot for us to camp while visiting the Black Hills. This campground was perfect, and I'm confident to say the best, after seeing the rest in the area in person. We tent camp currently; the site was spacious enough for our three bedroom tent. The camper and RV sites were spacious... More

We stayed in a tent site in Ranch Camp. There are almost all rvs, very few tents, but we wanted a campground with a lot of amenities for our kids (7 and 9). Staff was helpful and polite, the ice cream and coffee was good, the kids loved the playground and pool. It was pretty quiet. We were right next... More

Best place to camp in area. Most spacious sites, level, nice pool, pancake breakfast, extremely close to everything in the area. Only negative are unpaved sites with crushed granite get your rig dirty during heavy rains. We will return!!

Love this campground. It is very large with spacious sites. The views are awesome. Smack in the middle of the major attractions in the area and the Mickelson Bike Trail runs across the property. We would definitely return if in the area. You need to request either sun or shade when you make a reservation. Lots of things for kids... More

This was a really fabulous campground. Beautiful views. Friendly staff. Very clean bathrooms and pool. We stayed in Base Camp and I would have preferred something a little more off the beaten path but it was all that was available when we booked. This is a great homebase for Custer, Mt Rushmore and Cazy Horse. They do make you put... More

Talk about amazing views when you step out the door in the morning. It is a very nice campground. The grounds are so relaxing and peaceful. There is an awesome pool and hot tub for the people to use that are staying in the campground. It has convenient access to 4 wheeling trails. Very close to Hill City and several... More

This isn't camping. We had such a nice bathroom, clean each day and the showers were hot as well as roomy and clean. The grounds were amazing and well kept. The sites were nicely spaced and quiet each evening. A great place to stay and drive into Mt Rushmore

Stop number 5 on our summer trip and this is the nicest campground we have stayed at so far. Check in was quick, but they don't really take you to your spot so pay attention and follow the map they give you because this is a BIG campground with many different sections. We found our spot easy enough and it... More
