This was a very enjoyable experience and the room we had for four nights was exceptional. Very well decorated and the bed was outstanding. To be sure, this is a very old building and the room locations can be a bit confusing, but well worth the effort. The only negative I could come up with is the fact there is... More

Traveling with group of 12 friends...everyone at Deadwood Dicks was so friendly and even helped one of our group take up luggage in th freight elevator. They have an antique 'little' elevator... Enjoy it for what it is, you just don't see these everyday. If you want modern, don't stay here. First impression walking through all the 'for sale' antiques....... More

Thank you so so much for this wonderful review. I am glad your group was comfortable. Even though Deadwood Dicks is a 110 year old historic warehouse building, we have tried to make our rooms and suites old fashioned but still with all the modern conveniences. Our hotel desk sits amid an antique mall so it is a bit confusing... More

We were a bit disappointed by the restaurants on the main street, all you could see was the casino section instead of the restaurants (we like to see what we step into first ...) We then found this lovely bar/restaurant just off the main street and I'm so glad we did. The barman was very friendly and helpful and as... More

Thank you so much for the great review on our restaurant. Just so everyone knows, we are serving fresh Tex Mex this summer plus half pound burgers and bison burgers. Everything is made fresh daily. Our specialty is Indian Tacos. If you have never had one, it's a must try! So glad you enjoyed it and Yes, Josh is friendly... More

If you're looking for a standard hotel, this is not the place for you. The building is old, the elevator is something out of America Horror Story (in a good way) and the rooms full of charm. We loved staying here and could imagine all the stories the walls could tell through out the history of the building. The rooms... More

My family and I liked staying here. It's historical, so the building has character especially the elevator. The elevator is the old ( I want to say original) elevator that only three people can ride at one time, two with luggage and has double cage doors. Our room was like a mini two bedroom apartment. It was a neat experience.... More

Thank you so much for your wonderful review. I wish we could expand the restaurant hours as well but there just isn't any help available here. We are grateful the Wooden Nickel just across the street is open for breakfast with good food and reasonable prices. Glad the room fitted your group. Hope to see you again real soon! More

Nothing fancy but the food and service were very good. We all had the Indian Taco. Very tasty and lots to eat. They serve Coke products. Free refills on the soda. They accept credit/debit cards. I truly enjoyed all the old memorabilia that was in the display cases. Also all the old beer cans were a hoot to look at.

Very clean. If you want a vintage feel to your stay this is the place. We didn't want a regular hotel stay so we booked a room here. The elevator made us laugh evertime we rode it. Updated but out of the 1800's. It was a great experience / within walking distance to all of downtown deadwood

What an awesome place to stay! Very clean. Abundant amount of room for everyone! Two king size beds, one full size bed and full bed. Plenty of hot water for all - spacious kitchen with plenty of storage. Loved the old vintage elevator that still works! Will stay here again! Very neat town to explore.

I think this is a way to view dead wood from a historical start. The rooms are vintage but newish and extremely clean. Large and spacious with a big fridge and kitchenette. The view was great with downtown scenes and the best part was going up!! I mean on the elevator remodeled from the early 20s I think!! Pet friendly... More

Thank you so much for the wonderful review. So glad you liked the 1898 elevator. I find it hard to believe they had electricity back then let alone elevators. Deadwood is full of history and that is why folks enjoy coming. Hope to see you back again soon. More

I was in town for a food show. The place I stayed the first night was horrible. Was not worth the $$$ i over paid. Deadwood Dick's had so much charm. The bed was super soft.
