I got the room off hotwire which had it rated as a 3 star and lists hotels like Sheraton, Wingate, and Embassy suites as examples. If this place is on that same class then I am in the same class as George Clooney and Brad Pitt. This would be based on. 1 we are all male, 2. We are all... More

We are at this moment in our room here, our first of two nights because my wife is here for a conference, and I am listening to the conversations in rooms on either side of us. I will wear ear plugs to sleep tonight.

Parking and access to building not very good. Room was average looking at a rock wall out the window. When checking in there was a sign at the front desk saying it will be a while. "Shift change in progress". Are you kidding me? What kind of customer service is that? Waited for about 10 minutes to check in. No... More

Overall, we had a very nice stay. The decor in the common areas is dated, but the rooms seemed more recently updated. They were very clean, and included a microwave, refrigerator, and all of the usual room amenities. I believe we were in building three, up on the hill. We had a King room with only a view of the... The hotel was adequate but chopped up. Not really pet friendly they place you on the second building in a floor that you have to access from the outside. Also there is a 27.00 charge for pets. The actual rooms are clean and accommodating. Parking can be a challenge with a parking ramp and easy access to the elevators. Did... More

We left it late to book a hotel in Deadwood when the Sturgis Rally was in full flight. This hotel does what it says on the tin, offering simple, budget accommodation. The room was clean, good coffee machine, air conditioning, TV, private, ample free parking and you could easily walk down to the town. Ideally suited our one night stay.... More

When I arrived to check in, I had to wait for someone to come to the desk, there was no bell or way to let anyone know I was waiting. When she did arrive. I had to wait for her to have a phone conversation with a tour organizer. When I went to check out in the morning, I also... More

I would recommend that you stay anyplace else but here. The rooms are shabby and In desperate need of updating. The view from the window was a rock wall about 2 feet away from the building. The shower only trickled lukewarm water. LThe desk staff and the housekeepers were very pleasant and helpful. The casino is dirty and has mostly... More

The hotel is at the lower(lowest) end of Main St., so you'll have to take the trolley or a taxi to get anywhere. Trolley are reliable in the first part of the day, but later on they become very unpredictable so keep this in mind. This hotel is spread out over 3 or 4 buildings, so you have to take... More
