We stayed with a large group in the Teddy Roosevelt suite and had a great time. The hotel was very accommodating with our party of 8 people. The beds were a bit uncomfortable, but it was a good option for our larger party and we enjoyed the historical aspects of the room and the hotel.

Medium size casino. Most of the slots are old type. Some penny machines. I did not stick around long as payouts dismal and no action at all at. No machines ringing- it was pitiful. Only about 6 people playing slots and no one at craps or poker. Do not recommend.

We stayed in this historic hotel on a weeknight and practically got the room for free the price was so low. Our room was very neat and was on the corner so that we could see all of Main St. If you dont mind your setting to be outdated, I would recommend this hotel for the value. Casino was also... More

We stayed at the Franklin on our honeymoon and just went back 8 years later. It is an old, historic hotel. The rooms in the historic part are old. The woodwork and light fixtures are old, there's an old claw-foot tub, old sink and mirror, the door sits crooked in the frame, and we love it all! We know what... More

We had a reservation for the travel lodge across the street. We checked in, park in front of the hotel on the street for check in. Once checked in they will give you a parking spot in a gated lot. We went over to the travel lodge (which is just across the street from the hotel) this room was nothing... More

We had no idea where to stay in Deadwood and tried the Franklin because it looked like it had been here for a long time. The room was Spartan, but very clean and it had everything we needed. The shower was great. They have a bar on the veranda overlooking the Main Street and its a great place to relax... More

We really enjoyed the ambiance of this hotel, but more than that, our granddaughter had a blast with a slew of other kids, seeing the gunfight in front of the hotel, with all the dramatic characters. After the show, they were told a rousing story by one of the characters, and given their own sheriff's badge. Lots of fun for... More

I need to disclaim the review somewhat as we stayed at the Bullock hotel. We went to Legends for dinner and fell in love with the decor and beauty of the hotel. We asked to see a couple rooms for future reference. We loved them as they were much more spacious than the Bullock with the old claw foot tubs.... More

Nice old hotel, don't let them tell you that the only parking lot is the dinky little one in the back. They have a nice dream parking lot across the street. The one behind the motel is small, hard to get in and out of and shared with the school. The motel was ok for the price and the location... More

Usually won't eat at buffets but this was was awesome! It had everything we could have wanted from prime rib to crab. Plan on waiting inline for awhile because it's always busy. Very friendly service and they were very clean. Will be returning
