We got a suite that had 3 beds, it was room #203. Huge bathroom with a great jetted tub. The two bedrooms were nice each with a television. There was also a little living room with a television and fireplace. Great room, great location, great price!

Thank you for your kind words, and for being our guest. Our large suites are a little known feature of our historic hotel. They are a perfect alternative for a large family or group. And the rate for the suite is only slightly more than a king room. I am glad that you found yours to be nice! We hope the you visit us again soon!

My wife and I stayed three nights at Hickok’s. The location was great, the rooms were clean, and the bed was comfortable. We had a great time and will return. Susan, at the front desk, and Dan, with maintenance, went above and beyond—so friendly and fun.

Thank you for your nice review, and for being our guest. Like you, many of our guests appreciate our Main Street location, but a few steps from most of our town's activities and attractions. I will pass along your compliments to our housekeeping staff, they work hard every day to ensure a clean and comfortable room. We hope to see you again soon!

Thank you for your kind words, and for being our guest. We tried to maintain many of the original Victorian features during the renovation, yet install many of the "creature comforts" enjoyed by today's guest. Thank you for noticing. We are looking forward to hosting you again on your next trip to Deadwood.

We checked into the hotel the last day of Kool Deadwood nites and we had a great time. Our room was very nice and very clean, I luv the décor. The king bed was so comfortable that I felt like I was at home in my own bed and there were enough pillows to keep my hubby happy.

Thank you for your kind words, and for being our guest. We tried hard during our renovation to maintain many of the original Victorian features, yet include the "creature comforts" desired by today's guest. Thank you for noticing! I will pass along to our house keeping staff your compliments, they work hard to ensure a clean and comfortable room. Our Main Street views are great for special events like Kool Deadwood Nites, and just to watch the world go by for that matter. Please try one of our award winning pizzas next trip, they are among our towns best. We hope to see you again soon.

This is a large, historic building, but we only went in the storefront casino for a short time. Only fans so it was a little warm. Location is good. Must take up the entire block. Staff were friendly. I'd go back for the small casino, but cannot review the hotel part.

Thank you for your nice review. Our 80 devices does not qualify our casino as a large one, but our machines are liberally percentaged and, as you noticed, our staff will spend considerable time tending to our guests. That is an advantage of being a "little guy!" I will pass along your compliments to the staff. I hope that you consider staying with us in one of our restored historic rooms. They are among the nicest in our town, and priced for every budget. We hope to see you again soon!

Is it noisy? I was concerned about street noise.
Not sure. We never stayed there. Stopped there for a few minutes to pick up Pizza's. Sorry can't really answer your questions

Is this hotel kid friendly?
My wife and I stayed at the hotel in May, so there were not many children there. The hotel does not have a pool or activity rooms.

I wish I could be more help. I unfortunately forgot the room number but our room had a very large open bathroom and would most likely suit your needs.

Hi...Curious what is a Junior Suite and what is a large suite?
Sorry, I haven't seen their large suite, but I have stayed in a junior suite and it was very nice. It consists of two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, closet, and sink, the other with a king bed a couple of overstuffed chairs, closet, a bureau which, in addition to regular drawers, contained a refrigerator and microwave, and a gas fireplace. The bathroom was as large as some hotel rooms I have stayed in, with wonderful soft, thirsty towels. This will definitely be my choice on future trips.
