This was a very clean, updated hotel. Very helpful, friendly staff. We appreciated the full hot breakfast and guest laundry. Were able to tour Historic Deadwood and other area sites from this location. Recommend this hotel.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Deadwood Comfort Suites. My wife and I spend several nights there and it was very enjoyable. I really liked the personnel at the desk and the lady who did the breakfast. This place has an arcade for kids and several casino games for adults. The gentleman who ran the bar was very nice and me made me my first Moscow Mule. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel with comfortable beds and a quiet atmosphere. There is a shuttle service that takes you downtown since the hotel is at the end of town. The Breakfast wasn't great but adequate. Nice little gift shop in the lobby. This was a really nice hotel and I would stay here again

Room was clean but had a little bit of a smell. Not sure what it was but could only smell by the door. Quiet area till the next morning when the 4x4s til off. No lights in the pool area but we were the only ones there so not a big deal. Breakfast was simple. No waffles but did have a plain bagel. Food was fresh and good. Not much for fresh fruit but we were close to closing time. Convenient location. Nice parking area. Mini putt but we didn't play.

Overall the hotel was good for us. The location was convenient, though it was a decent walk to downtown. The hotel needs updating and some of the common areas needing cleaning. The room and bathroom were clean and the staff was very friendly.

The TV was huge in the room. That said, the beds were comfy and the rooms are clean. The amenities are great. The mini golf course is attached to the hotel and they have yard games available as well. They had an arcade, casino, and bar in the lobby area too. The pool isn't huge, but it was enough for my two kiddos. I'd recommend to anyone! It also has a trolly stop right at the front door.

We stayed in Deadwood 5 nights. Based on prices and TA reviews, I went with the Comfort Inn and Suites. In regards to the action downtown? You are only a mile away. You could walk it if you so choose to. Otherwise, there is a shuttle that picks up and drop offs twice an hour right at the front doors. The room is showing it's age. (curtains can't close fully). The breakfast is limited but the effort is good. You can pick a microwave meal (omelet, or sausage biscuit, and some spicy breakfast burrito), with a milk, juice, coffee and a muffin. Also the food in the restaurant is......a work in progress, I hope. But the beer is top notch, and the staff we have dealt with could not be any friendlier. Good size room, bed a little stiff for me, but nice (and plenty) pillows. You could do much worse than here. Also mini golf on sight for a fee, large arcade room for the kids and a couple of billiard tables. Kudos!!

Good: Walls looked freshly painted; carpet clean. Good bed. Helpful staff. Lots of bathroom counter space. Bad: Bathroom fixtures looked old. Little water pressure in the shower. Not great lighting. Breakfast offerings were items to pick up at the desk and heat in the microwave; we brought in cereal from our car.

This has become the hotel we stay at when we come to Deadwood when we go on vacation. The beds are comfortable and the girlfriend thought the fitness room was fair. The COVID breakfast was good, and you had choices to pick from. There were not a lot of slot machines at that hotel. But not a problem for me

The hotel seemed like a long way from downtown - that night but in the day light was not so bad. The check in associate was friendly and helpful - the room was clean. The morning 'bagged' breakfast was good for what it was. Would probably stay here again.
