Two nights at the backpackers with spotless amenities. Clean towels and linen provided together with a very comfortable bed, reading lamp and coat hangers. After a day on the Queen Charlotte Track I could come "home" and have a swim in the pool and lie in a hammock in the orchard. In the early morning the view of the surrounding...

After just 2 nights we decided to extend our stay. Not only because of the motel itself but because of Adam & Melissa, the owners. So the motel is family-owned what makes this place even more special. Both of them are very friendly and are keen to make your stay as nice as possible. Apart from that the location right...

We stayed for a night just recently, this motel is superb. Clean, modern and very comfortable bed. This motel is in Linkwater which is between Havelock and Picton on the Queen Charlotte Drive. Very handy to the end of the Queen Charlotte Track, they have a sign out offering showers for walkers coming off the track. The backpackers part of...

A fantastic spot. Not what you would expect in a rural farmland setting and an easy drive along the winding but picturesque Queens Charlotte drive. The rooms a re large and clean. Plenty of activities Close by Tidy and friendly.

Stopped here after leaving the Inter Island ferry. Far better than staying in Picton also gives a good start for our onward journey to Nelson the following day. Rooms are spacious and well decorated and include a kitchenette and table. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet despite being near a main road. There was no traffic noise...

I'd never stayed in a motel and was very pleasantly surprised. Spacious room, very clean and comfortable. Service was friendly and the hotel is just outside Picton, but a good location for an onward journey to Nelson or the Abel Tasman area. There is also a pool, but it's exposed to the road so we didn't try it.

The owners are very helpful gave us advice on eating in the area and walks, they even called a few places to see if booking a table was needed. The motel is very close to the start of the...

About 25 of us chose to stay with Adam and Melissa for 3 nights while we enjoyed a Marlborough College(co-ed) reunion of the mid-fifties. What a wonderful place, and we were made so welcome. It was a great base for us all to do our daily outings, Some stayed in the motels, and some in backpackers, who all said it...
