My husband and I spent a night here recently and cannot recommend it highly enough. Susan was an incredible hostess who--in addition to offering us a beautifully appointed room and a scrumptious breakfast--offered me special care when I arrived feeling a bit under the weather. We would have spent another night here on our way back to Charlotte except for Hurricane Michael, which was threatening to close the airport! Beautiful property, thoughtful details--a true home away from home!

This has to be the best place to stay in Winnsboro. The owner could not have been more helpful, and breakfast was great. The rooms are large and well-furnished, and it's very close to the central business area. We definitely will stay here again.

I called to book a room with the B&B owner. I told her that I was meeting a good friend there to go to dinner and to work on some marketing material. I told her that I view her B&B and thought it was very charming and wanted to see if there was any availability. She said there was availability but that the situation sounded like a hook up to her so she could not help me. Then she slammed the phone down in my ear at that point I believe my mouth was hanging open. Very unprofessional and strange by anyone's standards.

The exterior of the home and the rear gardens are a little worn, but the interior of the home is awesome. The furnishings, the decor, the beautiful hardwood floors are all very impressive. We had a beautiful large bedroom and an excellent sleep. The proprietor was very engaging and prepared a wonderful breakfast.

Susan greeted us and was flexible about what time we arrived. She gave us a recommendation for a restaurant for dinner. Since it was a Sunday evening some places were closed (like all the shops on the main street). We stayed in the Blue Jay room, which is large and has a queen bed and is decorated beautifully. There were two luggage stands, which was nice. There was also a seating area right outside our room. There was a refrigerator on the second floor, where our room was, filled with beverages which guests were welcome to. We had a choice of what we wanted for breakfast and we chose pancakes (could have plain, nut or blueberry). We also had fruit and sausage. The food was good.
