Our second stay at the Hammock was every bit as grand as the first! Sandy greeted us with a hug and a clean comfortable room for the night. Awesome breakfast - more than we could eat! A welcome change from the chains! Such great southern hospitality!

We had such a nice stay at The Hammock Hotel a few years ago, we always wanted to go back. When a family event had us going to Walterboro last week, it was the only place that I wanted to stay. Sandy has kept her high standards in place - our suite of rooms were immaculate - bedroom with king...

We ended up in Walterboro by accident, but had a lovely stop, including the fantastic hospitality shown us at the Hotel Hammock. Comfy beds and super yummy home cooked muffins with breakfast. Well worth getting off the highway and close to downtown and antique stores.

We stopped here on our way up and back from Christmas in NC. We had 3 nice rooms - very comfortable king bedroom with dresser, chair and closet. It opened onto a back porch with door to the parking lot which was handy for carrying stuff in and out. The bathroom had a walk in shower and was a nice...

Our room was so clean and the service was wonderful! Sandra went above and beyond to make sure that we had whatever we needed for our stay. I had been looking forward to staying here for a while after reading the review and the place did not disappoint. Will definitely stay again when we're in the area.

We were lucky to find this guest house for a rest stop on our way home to Florida. It is located within walking distance to a quaint downtown section of Walterboro and is such a lovely diversion from the chain hotels along the interstate. We needed a pet friendly room for our dog, and the Hotel Hammock was perfect for...

Sandy was waiting on the porch for us with a big wave and friendly smile! What a delightful place to stay. We had great accommodations that were sparkling clean. The bed was more comfortable than my own! And, we were spoiled rotten for breakfast! Delicious quiche, fruit, and pretty much anything else we could have asked for! We appreciated the...

I absolutely loved this charming little hotel. Sandy, the owner, makes sure her guests feel welcome and does her best to stuff you with wonderful baked goodies fresh in the morning. It's like visiting grandma's house. This is a diamond in the rough. A must stay if you ever find yourself in Walterboro. I will be back!
