Sandy was waiting on the porch for us with a big wave and friendly smile! What a delightful place to stay. We had great accommodations that were sparkling clean. The bed was more comfortable than my own! And, we were spoiled rotten for breakfast! Delicious quiche, fruit, and pretty much anything else we could have asked for! We appreciated the... More

I absolutely loved this charming little hotel. Sandy, the owner, makes sure her guests feel welcome and does her best to stuff you with wonderful baked goodies fresh in the morning. It's like visiting grandma's house. This is a diamond in the rough. A must stay if you ever find yourself in Walterboro. I will be back!

We had no reservations & planned to stay by Interstate. We happened to drive by The Hammock & stopped. So glad we did! We got the last room! Very private, updated. The owner has put a great deal of effort in making this old tourist home a charming Inn. Rooms comfortable. Spacious bath. We had a private porch. We would... More

We pre-booked our stay for one night and we were not sure what to expect. We were so pleased with the welcome we received from Sandie, the beautiful historic homestead-turned-hotel, and our room, which turned out to be a suite. It was a two bedroom suite with a large bathroom, as well as kitchen table, microwave and fridge. The furnishings... More

I found Hotel Hammock on Trip Advisor and called. Sandy was wonderful as everyone one says. She reserved our room and was waiting for us when we arrived. What a magical oasis this turned out to be. The suite we stayed in was perfect. The hotel / B&B was such a find. Our little dog was welcomed. Sandy checked to... More

Staying at The Hotel Hammock is like visiting with friends! Mike and Sandy are delightful owners and make you feel so welcomed. Our room was clean, comfortable and charming! Linger on the front porch for coffee and learn the history of this beautifully restored guest house from the 1930's.....so much nicer than the usual chain motels while traveling on the... More

This was a great small hotel. Our suite was spacious and spotless, had a frig, micro, and a sitting room. The review claiming you need earplugs is totally bogus! Our room was totally quiet and got a great nights sleep. There are several restaurants within walking distance or a short drive. Sandy the owner is terrific and will make you... More

We loved our host Sandy who made our overnight stay warm and welcoming. Our room was large and comfortable and best part, the delicious breakfast to start our road trip to Florida. And - it's pet friendly too! We booked it again for our trip home. Thank you Sandy see you in 10 days.

We spent one night at Hotel Hammock on Dec 1, en route from Florida (where we had picked up a new puppy) to East Tennessee. Our group included myself, my daughter, my 86-year-old mother, and a 5-month-old Lhasa Apso puppy. We selected this B&B because it was pet friendly and was halfway between Titusville and home. Sandy met us when... More
