Me and my husband booked this room early in Jan, 2016 for the month of Sept, 2016 for the Darlington Race. I called to confirm reservations to make sure we get a ground floor room, for we had two pets coming with us. So we get there after driving in the storm that was going on there. Go in to...

We're from Texas. Not very much surprises us, although our home in Texas is lovely, some parts of Texas aren't! So we pretty much thought we've seen it all... Until we arrived here. We got in at about 3am and just wanted a place to rest after driving 15+ hours nonstop... Big mistake. The rooms smelt old and nasty, like...

Very run down, reception area and everywhere, from elevators, corridor, carpet to room itself. Dirty general areas. Pool is emptied out and has no water. Breakfast is minimal and I saw cups and cutlery are tucked under the table on the floor itself after breakfast is over. Hygiene issue.

My grandmother worked at this property for years in the 70's and 80's when it was a Holiday Inn and she was very good friends with the owners at the time. As a child, I remember visiting her there and swimming in the pool (owner allowed) and fantasizing about staying overnight in one of the rooms. As an adult and...

I visited this place two months ago and it was one of the worst. I wrote a review about the hotel and the DM promised me that they would refund me my night stay a MONTH AND A HALF ago twice and I haven't seen it as of yet. The floors had trash on them. The walls had splashed food...

Stayed there two nights ago for my son's sporting event. Figured we'd get a few more souveniers with the money we'd save there over the Marriott. Big mistake. First, let me say that the staff at the desk were both polite and as helpful as they could be. Problem was they didn't have much to work with. From the dead...

I was traveling back to South FL and had a unexpected delay. We found the Econo Lodge by chance as it was close the hospital I needed to be near. We stayed Sept 10-12 last week. The staff was awesome. Everyone from Front desk, Kitchen, morning restaurant servers and ground were exceptionally nice and made our stay feel like home....

We stayed at Econolodge for 7 days in early May to attend my daughter's college graduation. I let Priceline choose the motel and was a little concerned when I read the reviews. To save some money, we chose a motel that served breakfast as of of the package. Although we ate there every morning, the menu never varies and gets...

We had been to this motel last year, and decided to come back. We were pleasantly surprised to see the difference one year made. The place was definitely in better shape. Although it wasn't too bad the year before, this year we felt the big effort had been made to make it cleaner. In fact the window in our room...

The price was good if you don't mind a few roaches. The heater/air conditioner was old and antiquated and took forever to heat up. My mother's room had an incredibly old TV that didn't work well. Other than all that it was ok. I recommend staying there as a last resort.
