Thoroughly delightful hostess. Dianne made us feel so welcome. The room was clean and had everything we would ever need. Breakfast was amazing in her kitchen. Fruit, eggs, bacon, cheese grits, praline french toast, and you felt like you were right at home. Dianne is engaging and a joy to be around. We would definitely come back. Also just a... More

If you're looking for a beautiful, and charming, southern B&B experience... look no further... Dianne Thomas & her husband Ken, hosts of the The Pink Dolphin, are without a doubt the best we've seen. Their knowledge of the area and its' history, their home, the rooms, AND the food were fantastic and simply "ooze" authentic southern charm! Thank you Dianne... More

My boyfriend and I could only stay for one night, but we wished we could have stayed for a week! The room and house is gorgeous. My mouth dropped open when we arrived. Dianne cooked a delicious southern breakfast for us the next morning. Plus they have the most well behaved dogs and puppies. I love animals so that added... More

The pink dolphin is a great historic BnB located in the center of downtown Summerville. Dianne and Ken are gracious host. They make you feel welcome and at home. Coffee was brought up to our room every morning prior to breakfast. Breakfast was absolutely fabulous both mornings and afternoon wine was a nice treat. We could not have ask for... More

The house is like an old mansion, and is very fancy with old trimmings and doors inside, like stepping into yesterday. The rooms are each decorated in a special way, and are spacious and beautiful. One room has an outside entrance. It is very close to downtown Summerville, and it is easy to get to Charleston from there, about 25... More

Perfect hosts, excellent breakfast, and location make the PD a great place to stay! Our dog had a great time playing with the owners three labs while we enjoyed walking to dinner and shops. I thoroughly enjoyed talking with Dianne who is very creative and interesting, and evening outdoor fire pit was fun . Will definitely return! Note: you should... More

We enjoyed the lovely "blue" room at the Pink Dolphin B&B. Dianne was very helpful and accommodating upon our arrival. She got coffee and tea for us to enjoy before coming to breakfast. She made suggestions regarding dinner options. The Southern breakfast was abundant and delicious. She stayed and chatted with us during our meal. We enjoyed meeting her fur... More

Some B&B owners are businesspeople who provide what you need from a formal distance, while others are "naturals" who are truly friendly, helpful, attentive and knowledgeable. Dianne and Ken are naturals. They genuinely like people, and enjoy making them happy. I had the Carolina Room, a very comfortable and tastefully appointed room with a jacuzzi-style bathtub. The breakfasts were scrumptious... More
