We had such a great stay at the Hilton Garden Inn of Summerville SC. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was welcoming and accommodating. The employee who really stood out was Patricia in the breakfast cafe. She could not do enough for us.

We will definitely stay here when visiting Summerville in the future!

My husband & I were traveling from Florida to New York before heading home to Massachusetts & were unable to find a hotel with any availability close to 95 from Georgia to South Carolina. We found this Hilton Garden Inn BUT it was an hour out of the way so we hesitated to book it. I'm very picky & will only stay at a Hilton brand hotel so we decided to go. I was so very impressed with this hotel right from the start, the young woman who was checking us in was pleasant & upbeat (despite the late hour) & all i had to do was hit a button on my phone to check out. The room was clean & roomy, the beds so amazingly comfortable & the most surprising & wonderful part (to me) was the soundproofing .... we didn't hear other guests or traffic or doors slamming (which everyone seems to do) & slept longer than we should have. I always try to get the top floor so we don't hear the guests above us but all they had was a room on the 2nd floor so i was pretty disappointed BUT soon realized that there was no need!!! I have to say that this is the very best hotel that i have ever stayed at & I am very disappointed that it isn't somewhere we'd be going again because i would not hesitate to stay here again!!

This hotel is brand new , and very comfortable, with in person breakfast including cooked to order eggs! so good to have this essential feature back. Thank you Patricia for service. But not 5th star as no hot tub/jacuzzi, which travellers need after journey. and the trolley cart service needs attention, none available at checkin, had to be found and brought to lobby. But like new HGIinn room layout, had experienced night before in Savavnnah renovated rooms. .

My husband and I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Summerville, SC on Sigma Dr. last week and it was horrible. If cleanliness is a priority for you then don’t stay here. They don’t clean rooms “due to COVID” however my husband and I stayed at two other hotels in recent weeks including the Cambria Hotel (directly across the street from this one) and they both cleaned rooms. I suggest staying there instead. A housekeeper is never in the room with guests so it’s still possible to practice social distancing. They are just being LAZY and doing the bare minimum. How do you expect a room to not have trash taken out, clean bedding, clean bathroom and a freshly vacuumed floor during a 3 night stay? This made my stay unbearable! I’m so relieved to be back in my clean home. I was utterly disgusted while staying there.

i stayed at this hotel for 7 nights (was going to stay 9) in early November. upon checking in i asked for my room to be cleaned 2 times during my stay (as i was staying so long). i try to be nice and not have them clean it everyday. the young girl said they were not cleaning rooms during stays because of covid. i said i understand everyday cleaning but i am here for 7 nights i will need trash taken out, bed sheet changed, and new towels during my stay. she said she would put it down. on Saturday as i was leaving for work i asked the front desk to make sure they were going to clean the room while i was gone. she said there was nothing on there about cleaning it and that house cleaning did not clean over the weekend. i told them that i had asked when i checked in to have it cleaned and was told she would put it down to be done. i had been in the room for 2 day's at this point and told them i needed it cleaned. when i got back to the room at 6 pm nothing had been done so i went to the desk and talked to a guy who said he would put it down to be done on Sunday when i was going to be gone for 3-4 hours. when i got back on Sunday afternoon i found nothing had been done at this time either. when i went down to the desk i was told they could not find anything about cleaning it but then someone came up and found the notes when they called for the house cleaner to come up there she said oh did they not clean it. no i am just down here for my health come on really i would come down to tell you they didn't clean it when they did. they got someone to come up and bring me new towels and washcloths. they told me to gather all the trash and put it outside the door and they would pick it up. then the house cleaner brought me new sheets and bedding. this is when i got mad. i am paying you for a room and services and you want me to change my own bedding. what made no since was if i checked out each night and check back in the next day they would have cleaned it everyday i asked for 2 days of cleaning. the next time they was supposed to clean it was on Tuesday while i was at work. needless to say i t was not done either. Wednesday when i left i asked one more time to have the room cleaned bedding changed and new towels put in. when i got that night it was not done again and i left the next day even though i was going to be there to Saturday. this is how they treat their top tier diamond members i hate to see how they treat regular customers. i have stayed out of town over 170 nights this year even with covid and this is the first time i have not been able to get service done when i asked. most hotels will not let your room go more then 3 days without cleaning even with covid. others ask if you want it clean or not because of covid. if i am in a room 3 days or less i normally do not have them clean.

We are Hilton lifetime diamond members and we’re amazed to find out that you no longer get the free breakfast in the morning but a $10 credit. We arrived on Friday and left on a Monday and we’re not able to have our room cleaned one time. They only offer cleaning the room on Monday Wednesday and Thursday. Enough already… Hotels continue to use the Covid excuse for not delivering for the customer. The prices continue to go up with substantially less service… Very disappointing! The food was great in the restaurant but there appears to be a service problem that management is not capable of addressing. The service on Saturday morning was not good but on Sunday there were two older ladies working and they were awesome! The heating and air conditioning system in the room makes so much noise that I had to use ear plugs to be able to sleep. I’ve never experienced this in any other hotel. I noticed this one is using a different type of heating and cooling unit than others that I have stayed in.

We checked in for a two-day stay and returned to our room after a busy day to find that it had not been serviced. When we brought this to the attention of the manager, we were told that one must stay for three nights to qualify for service. If you wanted service sooner, you must request it 24 hours in advance. I suggested that they tell guests that when they checked in. The manager said that they would give complete service to our room that day. When we returned the room later that day, the room had not been touched. After a call to the front desk during which the rules regarding service were reiterated, housekeepers came with coffee for the morning, clean towels and emptied trash. This is a lovely property, our room was nice and the restaurant was very good but housekeeping policies were terrible.

Arrived for a two night stay on 31 January. We received exceptional service from the time we walked through the front door until the moment we left, after extending our stay for an additional night. Not only was the front desk staff warm and welcoming, every member of the hotel crew was friendly with sunny smiles and enthusiastic greetings. In particular, Mario and Patricia from the restaurant staff made us feel very welcome and provided five star service. The kitchen staff was always ready with a hearty “Good Morning” every day. Lee provided an excellent meal every time. Unlike most hotels, real plates and silverware was provided for every meal. I would highly recommend this beautifully appointed hotel to all.

Hard to give more then 3 stars for this 3 Star hotel. No maid service. Must change your own sheets, clean your own room. Services advertised are not available, everything blamed on COVID, other Hilton brands apparently are not affected but this particular property is. I would avoid this location until they can become fully staffed and are prepared to open as a hotel. If you decide to stay, expect to pay full price, and typical services like room service, maid service, or even entertainment they advertise, will not be provided.

When we arrived in our room, there was still garbage in the trash cans, old food/pizza that smelled was left in the microwave, table and countertop had crumbs. I asked if they could send someone to at least empty the trashcans and was told there was no housekeeper available because it was the weekend. I was there for 3 nights and no one ever came to empty the trash. There were no sheets/blankets or pillows for the sofa bed. I had to go to front desk to ask for it because no one answered the phone. When I got downstairs they did not have any sheets clean so I was given 8 pillowcases. Also, the room only had towels for 2 people. I asked for additional towels and was told they didn't have any clean. The next day I asked for additional towels and was told I needed to bring the dirty ones for an exchange!!!!! After asking for a manager, the front desk finally gave me additional towels however, I was only given hand towels because once again the supply was dirty. Also the sheets and blankets that were on the 2 queen beds were very thin and worn! I will NEVER stay here again. The only good thing about this hotel was that the lobby smelled nice NOT THE ROOMS!!!!
