Choose from one of our five luxury accommodations: The Gardens, Oceanside, Driftwood, Sawgrass, and The Presidential Suite. The Gardens has a King size bed with roll-away bunk beds. Oceanside has two queen beds. The Presidential Suite is a private suite with a King bed, sofa-sleeper, living room, kitchenette, and bathroom. Room rate includes a full breakfast and in-room coffee and tea service. We are located in the historic district of Summerville, SC, a quick 15 minutes from Charleston International Airport and 22 miles from historic Charleston.

My Wife and I stayed at Caroline's B&B so that we could look around Summerville and the surrounding areas for potential homes. Their location was great -a Quiet area yet we walked to restaurants and it was a short ride to the Charleston airport.
We have stayed at many B&Bs and Inns and found Caroline's a top notch delight! Starting with the Beautifully & meticulously Manicured front yard, then the wonderful oasis they have created in the rear space so comfortable and relaxing. Moving inside, I thought for sure Caroline must have been raised in this home with the arrangement of family photos and the exquisite furniture and décor. Along with the room we stayed in, which was, so clean, spacious and comfortable with many details attended to such as coffee & tea, mini frig., bottled water, wine glasses, Ice bucket and chocolates on the night stands.
Now to the best part(because breakfast is one of my favorite things) Caroline made us amazing breakfasts, the starters where an especially amazing surprise. What made the breakfast experience more special for us was Caroline made it all so delicious while meeting our specific dietary restrictions.
It was a pleasure and we appreciated so much the time both Caroline and Jerry took to conversate with us.
I am not from the south but, between their home and hospitality, it all seemed Southern Hospitality to us.

Our stay at Caroline's Bed and Breakfast was beyond satisfying in every way. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by the gracious hosts, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The room was incredibly comfortable, with every detail thoughtfully considered and perfectly executed. Each morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast served with a stunning white-glove table setting, adding an elegant touch to the experience. From the cozy bedding to the immaculate decor, it was clear that great care was taken to create an inviting and peaceful retreat. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and will undoubtedly be returning on our next visit. Highly recommended!

My mother and I stayed at Caroline’s and it was fabulous. The decorations were so lovely and the breakfast each day was delicious. We would walk downstairs and there would be candles lit and soft music playing and the most wonderful breakfast! We loved it so much we extended our stay. Thank you again Caroline for being such a wonderful hostess!

I cannot review the place itself but can give a few words of caution. I booked this directly by phone for a weekend visit to attend a wedding Oct 7-10. We were also going to celebrate our anniversary. I was not aware children under 12 are not permitted but we were not bringing them. Our 6 year old fell ill and so did I with severe respiratory viruses. We were told if they rebooked the room we could get some of our money back however it was never re-listed on booking.com or any other website. For all we know they may have booked it and told us they didn't. We lost $600 which was a hard hit. I didn't take insurance because in the past I've been scammed and not refunded and even ended up in a class action suit with one company. I thought we would just lose the first nights deposit. This place has zero understanding so be prepared to be charged no matter what after that 14 day window. We were heart broken to miss our nephew's wedding in Charleston and worried sick over our son. My husband even asked if we could get a credit for a future stay. I think just a little compassion could have went a long ways.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I would first like to say that I hope your son is feeling better and apologize that you are disappointed with our cancellation policy. At Caroline's we do have compassion and empathy for our customers. With that being said we are still a business and do have to have policies in place. I try to go above and beyond just listing our cancellation policy by providing and suggesting a travel insurance option because I understand you never know what may happen to travel plans. I see that in your case you opted to not purchase travel insurance due to a past experience. Since you cancelled about a day before arrival, that leaves little time to rebook the room and unfortunately booking.com and airbnb have a 24 hour time restriction so it was unable to be listed there. I did have it available had someone called to book, which is how most reservations are made. We are as transparent, honest and up front with our policies in order to prevent a situation like this and are sorry you feel otherwise.

Our daughter booked this wonderful B&B while we were in town to visit her for Christmas. The holiday decor set the mood for a magical atmosphere, our room even boasted a Christmas tree! Everything was extremely clean and luxuriously decorated. The delicious breakfasts were fit for royalty being served with china, crystal & linen napkins. The room felt like home and the bed was comfortable. Caroline is an amazing hostess, telling us about local festivities & info. There’s also a small library room that guests are welcome to use. Nothing is spared to make the guest feel welcome and comfortable.

Caroline's house is beautifully decorated and inviting. We sat for hours on the open front porch. Our bedroom was large and had a refrigerator and coffee maker. The queen bed was extremely comfortable. Our 2 breakfasts were better than anything we had anywhere while traveling throughout the US and Canada. The scrambled eggs with cheese were perfectly fluffy. We had pancakes, sausage, fruit cups, sausage & gravy biscuits, sweet bread, juice & coffee all served hot! Caroline answered all of our questions and we had a wonderful stay. We HIGHLY recommend staying with her in Summerville, which is just next to North Charleston SC and close to the airport.

If we could leave more than 5 stars we would! Caroline's B & B was an exceptional home away from home. My husband and I had the pleasure of staying here for 4 nights in the presidential suite over the holiday this year. Carol and Jerry were the most gracious hosts. Our room was decorated beautifully as was the entire property in daily decor and Christmas decorations. Our suite was equipped with everything we could possibly need.There were drinks, snacks, comfortable furnishings, robes and umbrellas (which we needed). There was even a rubber hot mat for my flat iron! They had thought of everything. Let's not forget the delectable gourmet breakfasts. We couldn't wait to see what Carol was going to make each morning. Our son and his lovely fiancé moved to Summerville this past year so we will be coming here for many more visits and we don't need to look any further than Caroline's B & B for a place to stay!

I have stayed at Caroline’s many times with my significant other. We have stayed in the cottage, Oceanside and The Presidential Suite. All of the rooms have different vibes and decor. The breakfasts that are offered are an amazing value because they keep you full most of the day! The owner keeps the property well maintained, perfectly clean and even have cute little yorkies. We will continue to come back!

My wife and recently spent 4 wonderful nights at Caroline’s Bed & Breakfast. Carol and Jerry are really good people and the property was gorgeous. We sat on the front porch each evening and soaked in the peace and quiet. Only a short walk from the historic downtown of Summerville’s quaint community, Caroline’s offers a very convenient location.
But the breakfast, wow does she put on a show. It was as beautiful as it was delicious! We can’t wait for the next visit to Summerville and another stay at this special place.

I can not say enough wonderful things about Mrs. Carol and Mr. Jerry. We stayed in the cottage behind the bnb for a month with our children and loved every minute of being there. The cottage is beautifully decorated and you can tell Mrs. Carol put a lot of thought into the little details to make sure your stay is an amazing experience. The beds are soooo comfortable, I wanted to take them home with me and miss them to this day. My children loved having their own apartment upstairs with their own little refrigerators. My daughter also loved petting Mrs. Carols sweet yorkies and sitting outside admiring the beautiful flowers. Make sure you ask Mr. Jerry for his restaurant recommendations while your staying, i promise he will not let you down. If you are ever in Summerville this is the only place you should be staying. You will be so glad you booked your stay with Caroline's Bed and Breakfast. Thank you Mrs. Carol and Mr. Jerry for having us, we hope to see again in the soon.
