My husband and I truly enjoyed staying at this B&B. It was spotless and breakfast was delicious. Carol is very sweet and makes you feel at home. The location is close to everything. Restaurants galore. Highly recommend! Thank you
We have just spent 5 nights at this B&B and can't say enough good things about it! It is a very clean, charming, relaxing and tastefully decorated cottage which is close to everything you would want to see and do in the area. Carol's breakfasts are delicious and graciously presented each day. She is a wonderful hostess whose warmth, kindness and hospitality are felt from the moment you meet her. We had a most relaxing stay at this lovely B&B and very much look forward to returning.
Though not on the the beach, this lovely, restored, 70 plus year old cottage is the quintessential beach cottage, comfortable, casually elegant, cozy and interesting. Our room upstairs, though small (Salt Marsh) was light and airy, and didn't "feel" small. It contained the customary amenities such as soap, shampoo, hairdryer, etc. There is also a mini frig in the hall for guests. Seating on the front porch is plentiful and comfortable, and the back yard boasts a quaint gazebo with fountain, lush plantings, a hammock, and plenty of comfortable seating to enjoy a relaxing evening. Breakfast is plated with the entree du jour and fruit, coffee is plentiful, and ours were delicious, portions were satisfying. Our hostess was available and informative. This B&B was a surprise, located in a small neighborhood, and not obvious to the casual observer....however, what a gem it is! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would recommend it. An observation for the electronically needy....there is cable and free wifi; however, there are limited outlets and none specifically for usb charging. Bring your multiple device charger, or better yet, take the weekend (or other) off! A shelf in the bath next to the sink would be a nice addition, but for now, keep your cosmetics and potions to a minimum, as there is no where to spread out. Take heart however...the soaps are delightful, the towels sumptuous, the water hot. We enjoyed this spot thoroughly, and hope you will too!…
I was in town for a poetry event in January and was so happy to have found Crooked Tree Cottage. What an amazing location, just off 17! Carol made my stay on Pawleys Island easy and effortless from the fabulous, large room, to a yummy cheese/ham omelet and maple-syrup seasoned bacon, and to engaging conversation. I hope to return rightfully soon!
What a wonderful BnB. The cottage was so comfortable with nice touches like delicious bath soaps and guest bathrobes, The outdoor sitting areas are so inviting with a gazebo and water feature. The morning coffee and breakfasts (my fav was the apple pecan french toast...yum!!)were scrumptious and the bed slept like a dream! The hosts hospitality was so warm and genuine. The BnB is just a short drive to multiple public accesses along the beach, close to the North and South end of Pawley's Island... I'm already planning my next visit...I miss the Crooked Tree Cottage already! I can't wait to return!!
