First we have stayed in several La Quintas across the USA and they have been very reasonably price with decent mid-range room amenities. NOT THE CASE at this location. The room was filthy. The property was down in a retaining wall area that appeared to used as a support for the access road above. Please take advantage of pictures and... More

I have stayed in numerous other LQ's, mostly in the PNW, and was very dissatisfied with this one. I couldn't get out fast enough because of the electrical issues in the room, but mostly because I woke up in the middle of the night with cockroaches crawling on me. There were other issues as well like mold in the bath... More

Its an old property directly next the interstate (and I mean directly, like it's almost above your head !) so very noisy with zooming cars, trucks, sirens, etc. Found wet facecloth in room. Bed covers had stains. Stairs were dirty and trash about. People downstairs had dogs barking (one a Dane !) People partying outside. I'd just not ever stay here... More

Asked to see a room before we booked for the night. Were given a key and went to look by ourselves. Saw a good sized clean room and clean bathroom. Booked for the night. Breakfast was ok, cereal, toast, donuts, coffee, orange juice.

After a long day of driving in the rain we looked forward to getting the LaQuinta in North Charleston. That excitement soon left after arriving there and finding out we are, of course, on the 2nd floor and all the way down the outside hallway...yes, no elevator and traveling with cameras, laptops, etc. etc. Of course it was afternoon but... Bath tub looked like it had never been cleaned and toilet broken in the first room. Had them move us to a "clean" room and that room had dog hair on top of the bed. Pulled sheets back and sheets had not been changed from previous people and there was dog hair all in the sheets. Needless to say we... More

I say don't judge because although the hotel looks a little dated on the outside and it's near the highway, the rooms have been renovated nicely and I couldn't hear the traffic once I shut the door. It was obviously very well insulated. My room was very clean and well-pointed with very nice furniture. The fridge and microwave were in... More

Stayed in July. Beds were soft. Bathroom/Shower area were small. Floor of tub is a bit creaky. While sitting at the desk found a note from a previous guest warning the next person DO NOT STAY here. Also found an earing that wasn't ours. Perhaps clean a little more thorough so next guest doesn't find previous persons suggestions of notes.... More
