This hotel is mid-grade at best but is not the worst. The good- beach front, balcony, great pool, Makos live DJ. Decent beds and pillows. The hotel has the worst check in procedure I've ever seen. We got there a little early and they refused to let us check in saying the rooms were not ready However, soon after, they... More

We stopped here on our way home from florida. The view was amazing. Everything else was okay. The room was clean but the pool area was quite dirty. The game room smelled very bad. The elevators were having issues while we were there and ended up having to use the stairs to our room on the 6th floor. This was... More

I grew up vacationing in Myrtle Beach with my family and still really enjoy spending time in the area. The ocean front hotel I stayed at when I was a kid was torn down and rebuilt after a hurricane. The Reef is two buildings down from that location so several years ago I started traveling here for my week at... More

Stayed here for 4 nights. Not once did our room get cleaned. We had to go downstairs everytime we needed toilet paper or fresh towels and ask for it. We finally just started putting our trash outside our door just to get it out of the room. We were on the 11th floor and the elevators were awful. It would... More

We stayed here for a week. I had to call the front desk every morning to have them reset the pump to have any type of water pressure to take a shower! After that the water was never hot or even warm! The hotel could also use some updating!!

Booked a room through Expedia 5 months prior to my class reunion and when I arrived to check in was told that they don't rent rooms to people from Georgetown or Williamsburg counties. Had to drive around looking from a new Hotel while needing to be at my class reunion in less than an hour due to this hotel's discrimination... More

This hotel is so nasty. Hair on linens and towels, stained sofa bed (I had to cover it with sheets to feel comfortable enough to sit on it), I had to get clean linens almost daily myself. Black mold on the walls, peeling paint, dirty grout, previous guests dirty sweatshirt still on floor..... I could go on and on. Manager... More

We have vacationed to south myrtle beach for the last 10years. We booked this hotel as last resort because we waited too late to get reservations this year. We looked at room when we got there and it looked nothing like the pics online (will read reviews next time). Room was horribly outdated/neglected/smelled of urine, couch was wet with moisture,...
