Very clea, would definitely stay here and recommend to friends and family. No restaurant on site but lots in walking distance. Have stayed many times in Myrtle, but first time at this resort. We stayed in an Air B and B. Very easy check in and out

Paid a premium as this is a Pet Friendly resort and it is worth the extra if you bring your dog. I could not bring my dog as requirement was 45 days before leaving Rabis Shot and Micro Chip. We stayed in non resort apt. probably one of the best as it was corner unit 11 th floor . the apt. was quite dated, noticed that few plates and forks but Heather was quite attentive and offered to come over. No need as I was by myself. Internet I did not have access for several days then I found out is available. on each floor. The suite 1104 is not part of the resort so no servie. Walmart is 5 minute walk - thank goodness. Weather was terrible ... oh well. Staff at the resort were really kind especially Krystal at the front desk. The apartment was fine but could have gone to San Diego for same price .... generally the M Beach area is for family's travelling on a low budget. The apt. was fine and Heather was responsive to my questions. PS - Really friendly dog lovers at the resort.

they have a weight limit of 40 pounds per dog, however they do not adhere to this rule and they will deny you just because they feel like it. Front desk lady looked at our dog and said she was over 40 pounds. I said no she isn’t and I have vet papers saying otherwise. She refused to look a them and told us she “can tell with her eyes” thats she’s over the limit. Didn’t recommend anywhere else, but luckily we found another hotel willing to accept us.

The only reason to stay here is bringing your dogs to the beach. It is OF, which is great. They have kitchenettes. The facilities are well maintained. The staff is nice. The rooms are ok. The resort fees are outrageous. They advertise a $54 rate. with taxes & resort fee, it comes to approximately $120 per night. PLUS the pet fee $20 per dog per night (I have 2 small dogs) plus tax so another $51 per night. We stayed here 4 nights. For $685, I could have stayed somewhere fabulous. It is Mid November & the beach is empty. We have stayed here at least 5 times prior. We always got a great deal. Now that the units are privately owned, it is a terrible value. Also, we were on 11th floor. Per staff, you have to open all of the faucets to hot & let them run a while until you will get hot water. So much water is wasted! I doubt we will be back.

Stayd over Labor Day weekend 2022. Hotel is a bit older and room (1 bedroom condo) was outdated but the view was great, all the indoor and outdooe pools and hot tubs were clean (salt water pools) access to the beach convenient. Staff friendly and helpful. Security onsite and enforced pool/hot tub hours (close at 11). Not many amenities onsite (no restaurant, tiki bar, etc). Luggare carts hard to come by, not enough. Room was clean, fresh linens. Would definitely stay again, I hope they do some updates though

This was our 3rd stay here. First 2 times were nice. We arrived Aug.15.Booked for 6 days. Our room was fresh and clean checked in early which was nice. Reason for the 3 stars JOSH this crazy night guard. Avoid him he's has issues. Asked him a question pertaining to someone that was double parked and he said it was not a parking spot. We said it was and went on a rant said he was going to call the police on us. I went to the office and told Summer and she said not to worry she would take care of it which she did thank God, Josh romes around just looking for something to go on a rant about. Stay clear of him. Third day we had no water for hours. Outside hot tub no heat for night time. Was dissapointed this stay. Then you have the people from the beach that are not guests there help themselves to the pool really upsetting.

I would rate this a negative 10 if possible. 1. Elevator left 2 of my family members stuck in between two floors for almost 30 minutes!! They have no warnings that this can happen at any time because we saw it happen multiple times to other people during our 5 days there 2. They have an advertisement for discount on the key cards for Capt. Benjamins but the employees there informed us that those coupons are no longer valid so it was pointless for us to go there specifically 3. Roaches and flies by the pools and in the rooms 4. We checked the “check out” time online and it reads 11:00 am however housekeeping knocked on our door at 10:15 and told us check out was at 10:00am 5. We had an incident with our Olde English Bulldog who is about 55 lbs, we only brought her out away from the hotel so as to not bother smaller pet parents and management practically dragged us and the dog out. We were told her breed was restricted even though it is not listed on the restriction list. And multiple rooms had dogs just as large or larger , except these were caucasian pet owners while our group is hispanic, it was obvious that there was a racial factor in this. Our dog was also labeled as a pit bull even though we told them multiple times she was not. I do not care for their rhyme or reason about why they did not want our dog there. My kids cried for 2 days straight about their dog not being allowed to stay there and that was heartbreaking. We drove 8 hours to vacation there and our group had 5 rooms reserved but we were treated like criminals. The manager told us we had until 3pm to get the dog out of there and harassed us until he saw us leaving with the dog. He literally waited out side of the room pacing back and forth until we left. Our group had to split up and reserve elsewhere last minute and we continued to see large dogs staying there Lastly, the rooms are out dated and lacks cleanliness . I won’t tell you to stay away and stay elsewhere, I just wanted to share our experience with this hotel.

I’m currently on locationat Oceon Park Resort. I booked room 402 from 7/24 to 8/01. Traveling with me are my two teenage kids , my dog and wife. The room is a a studio with two Queens size beds. I booked my stay thru VRBO and the pictures on their site are nothing as to what the room looks like. The walls and doors are dirty, the tiles are cracked, the balcony has a rug that is soaked day and night because the AC hose drips water on it at all times. The worst part of my stay is that the bed my wife and I attempted to sleep on was broken. The box spring was broken and the bed had a huge indentation. I reached out to vacasa the managing company for n the first night and they assured me it would be corrected the following day. They asked if the staff can gain access to the room while we weren’t present and I said yes. Vacasa stated they would call me as soon as the condition was corrected. The following day we went out for breakfast and grocery shopping. After breakfast I called Vacasa and asked if the condition was corrected they stated yes and my family and I went grocery shopping. I didn’t want to shop for groceries if we were going to be moved. Upon arrival to our room I discovered that nothing was done. I called Vacasa back told them nothing was done at which point they said they were going to contact the resort local management. Soon after the maintenance personnel came to my room inspected the bed and stated that the bed needed to be in replaced Vacasa called me back soon after and stated they could either replace the bed or find me another room within their network at another location. I stated I would consider an equivalent location meaning on the beach or the bed replaced. Vacasa found a location away from the beach so I stayed at Oceon Park and the bed was replaced two days later. That means I had to sleep in a bed that was not only tilted to one side but sunken in to where my lower back touched the wood. For two nights I put up with it. Waking up each day with a sore lower back. Jessica from vacasa relocation emailed me stating I should be receiving compensation for the inconvenience but after numerous called to vacasa and Kevin the manager at Oceon Park no one has reached out to me yet. The front desk, maintenance and cleaning staff are very helpful and efficient. Management has awful customer service. Before I forget I walked my dog on one of the path next to the property and found a man that appeared to be homeless going thru a possible overdose. I informed the front desk and medical help was dispatched. I wouldn’t recommend this dump to my worst enemy. They should convert it into a homeless shelter.

This place is a sh1t hole. I'm embarrassed for booking on the fly and not really doing my homework. This place is disgusting and some of the employees look like zombies. Don't believe the ratings. This place should be closed.

Ocean Park is in a quiet area, quite some distance from the Main Nightlife in Myrtle Beach. We had a one bedroom condo, and it could best be described as cabin quality. The condo has had a rough life and it shows. On the day we arrived the sewer had backed up and the entire first floor, 1st level parking and pool were closed. As we came to go to the beach, we found this to be very nice. The deck and boardwalk to the beach were newer and very nice. The beach area was not to busy and we always felt safe, no matter what time it was. Overall, The price was good and I guess you get what you pay for. If you are looking for quiet and the beach this may be your place. If you want nightlife and a 'resort" experience this would not be for you.
