Great price, huge rooms and great views. We stayed in an oceanfront room with views of the ocean and pool. No crowds and rooms were very quiet. Also had nice blackout curtains. Very convenient to Barefoot Landing and Broadway at the beach. Will probably stay here again!

Our length of stay was misconstrued from the very beginning. Checked in on a Sunday night with the intention of staying through Friday leaving Saturday morning. Unfortunately the manager only heard Friday and we missed it as we were very tired. I have to share the blame on this equally so not totally his fault.

Our room was very dark and the bed linen was blue. Wives will probably not like that, while husbands are “so what” but it’s because you can’t bleach the linen. While this was a motel not once was our room cleaned. We had to request clean towels and a broom to sweep our floor. Which by the way we swept up quite a bit of sand.

We had adjoining rooms and I’ll just say you could hear everything that was said or done in that room.

The pool was cleaned everyday as well as the grounds surrounding the complex. Children will enjoy the water park that’s on the grounds too. The restaurant food was fair to good but if their adult beverages had anything other than punch in it I’d be surprised. Again maybe it’s because after 9 weeks of being under house arrest due
to the virus, my mixed drinks were stronger.

Maybe if you stayed here when things return to normal it would be an actual motel with daily cleaning, beds made and rooms swept but I’m not willing to return and find out. I’d keep looking for a different place to stay.

I apologize to everyone that my submitting this review earlier could have prevented them from reserving a room at this location.
This old hotel needs a major upgrade. Walls are thin, so it's noisy. The location is on the beach, which is what we wanted. The bathroom is tiny! When you get out of the shower, you will have to leave the bathroom in order to use your toiletries in comfort. I wondered why in a photo there was an additional vanity and sink directly outside of the bathroom. Now I see why. There is more space in that area. We arrived early evening and left our things to go to dinner. The next morning we unpacked our things and noticed there was no place to place them. A hotel room with no closet? A broom was left behind by Housekeeping. I guess this was to let us know the floors were swept. *Photos attached.
My first clue that this was not a good hotel should have been my problems in contacting the front desk or reservations area to book the room. I finally was able to connect with someone after several attempts. I should have continued searching. I felt as if I reserved a room at a $59/night rate. What I was charged far exceeding this. There are several other lodging options with beachfront locations with similar price rates. Keep searching!
I will never stay again and I will definitely not recommend.

A great trip overall. We had a meeting that we were attending in the morning and we were only planning on staying one night. But the amenities were so awesome we asked to book a second night. Just a warning, due to COVID, you’ll get new towels from the front desk when needed and you may want to bring a broom to tidy up a bit from the sand from the beach. This wasn’t an issue for us considering the great view from our room. The staff was friendly and answered our questions. They share amenities with Sand Dunes, so we’re trying it out next week to determine summer plans to try out the water park. We LOVED it all. The breakfast was great as well!

My family stayed at North Shore for a weekend getaway. This place is amazing! You don’t even have to leave the property. They have a nail salon, restaurant/bar, convenience store, gift shop, water park, arcade, and mini golf! The kids had a blast! All of the staff was helpful and nice. The cleaning crews were very accommodating even with the COVID restrictions. It is worth every penny and we will definitely be staying again!

They double charged our stay ! We are a family of 4 stayed here 4 days /3 nights booked the oceanfront deluxe view suite for $850 . On our arrival, we checked in at around 1 pm which we thought was pretty nice since checking in time is 4pm. That was the only good thing from the stay ! The lady that checked us in was a complete mess. Very rude and condescending! She went straight to asking for ID and Credit card , didn’t even say a hi or anything! She looked at the I’D and Cc and said ok the remaining balance is $550 I will process it( I had paid the $300 deposit at time of booking) Then immediately after she ran the card she said she couldn’t give us the room bc the name on the credit card didn’t match the ID ??? Then said she has to call her manager and admitted she shouldn’t have processed the payment! I wasn’t sure who she was talking to , she had a small ear piece and was in between conversations. Anyway, after what seemed like 5 minutes she says I can’t give you the room my manager just confirmed! Then she said only thing you can do is switch the reservation to your spouse name and he will need to provide his card and ID . We literally had no choice and went that route. She failed to mention though that she was going to reprocess the entire $850 payment again ! When we confronted her about why she was processing the payment again she said oh you’ll get your refund in 3 to five days ! Idk about you but we came to vacation w a budget and $ for food ! We ended up paying close to $1700 for 4 days! And Half our budget was taken . By the afternoon, we spoke to a manager, Kyle he was worse than the other employees. We told him what happened w the double charges, he just looked at us w a blank stare. Like he had no clue , he definitely looked like he just got the promotion or something! All he said was the refund will be there in a couple of days ! The rooms are truly as bad as the other reviews, no shower curtains, dirty sheets , the couch in the room was full of white stains . Even our boys didn’t want to sit on it! Elevator kept making weird noises ! The employees were smoking and playing loud music throughout the hallway. The so called water park looks like a neighborhood park sprinkler, nothing like the pics .

Dirty rooms, floor, and tub. When we took the towels and bathmat to the front desk we were told that the laundry sometimes doesn't get them clean. They were very rude. The pool was filthy and no towels are provided. There was smoking everywhere even though we were led to believe this was a non -smoking resort. The air conditioner was extremely loud and vents very rusty and dirty. Noise from the rooms above and next to you is terrible. Hallways are very dirty as well. We booked through RCI and will let them know how bad this property is. Don't waste your time or money going here.

If there are any other families who have been deceived from their website photos and or drone footage, I can attest with photos of Clorox disinfecting wipes. This "resort" is best fit for middle school aged kids who have not valued hard earned income, possibly not aware of cleanliness, will be blinded by video game lights and amazing sounds of noise from play. Staff seems to not expect to accommodate adult customers or just too comfortable that this "resort" has its demo date scheduled. Rooms will NOT be cleaned as expected, film on sinks, desks and counters will be present from a brisk wipe over, smells of the previous 2 visits are certain. This was an experience worth documenting for any fellow human. Let's keep each other safe by staying far away from this place and similar so called resorts!!

I tend not to expect much from these kinds of hotels. So my expectations were already kind of low.

It was dirty. It was awkwardly laid out. It smelled. Due to COVID the rooms were only serviced if you answered the door when the maid service knocked. If you’re at the beach, chances are you’re probably not sitting in your room waiting on the maid service to roll by. All of this and I still wasn’t put off. It was part of my expectations.

The deal breaker however was the coffee in the room had no creamer or sweetener, no napkins or stirrer. Which is heart wrenching to wake up to. I had to drive to Dunkin’ Donuts. The restaurant below opened at “7:00am” but at 7:05am the doors were still locked.

Also. Only had a quarter roll of toilet paper when we checked in. Ran out at the most inopportune time. No spare roll in the room. No Kleenex either.

But really, the coffee thing was killer.

We stayed for 5 nights August 22nd they the 26th.
To Begin, my husband called to check availability after seeing a “family fun” price online. The hotel staff quoted him a price over $300 more than the deal he saw online. It wasn’t until he mentioned it that the woman claimed “oh yes I didn’t even see that”.
We payed around $791 for an oceanfront room with a balcony, which is very well priced in my opinion, we’ll under the average price for an o da front room; it also included 4 passes to indoor black light golf…. BUT… we”got what we paid for”.

The hotel itself is not very clean and is outdated. Pools were cloudy. The room itself was relatively clean but stains everywhere… couch, curtains, sheets, washcloths, towels… everywhere. The ocean view was the best part. The hallways were extremely dirty with food crumbs and trash sitting outside rooms for days. I realize they aren’t letting housekeeping come into rooms due to COVID but there was really no reason for the hallways to be so dirty. Front desk staff were pretty oblivious…not very friendly. Water park “staff” sat on their phones the entire time. Water park and lazy river are ok but not as big as they are made to look. The Beach Front restaurant was overpriced and food was blah. The black light mini golf course was very cool. Overall, just average. I would not stay again.
