Hotel overall is a great stay and value! Housekeeping is on their game - any day I had my Do Not Disturb sign up, they texted me that evening asking if I needed clean towels, any trash to be taken out, etc. They were catering around my time schedule! All staff was extremely friendly! The only down side is that you can't set up your umbrellas in front of the hotel. They have rental umbrellas out there and you can't set up in front of them, only on the sides or behind them. This didn't feel good having to go way left or way right to set up my umbrella. This was my first time staying here, and will definitely be our new annual stay!!
Very clean and the staff was super friendly. We rented a 3 bedroom condo and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook with. The condo was very comfortable for our stay. The balcony was wonderful to watch the sunrise on. Everything met my standards.
We just returned from our 2nd visit to Grande Shores and it will NOT be our last! This is a fun place to stay, with a lot of options for kids, while being a little bit "away from the hectic life in the heart of MB". Sitting right on the beach, this resort has multiple pools, both indoor and outdoor, lazy rivers and hot tubs. Some of these water features are on the rooftop! Our 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo was spacious and recently upgraded! And, the staff is FANTASTIC! You can't go wrong here! We can't wait to return!
Our entire baseball team stayed at this resort during the Youth World Series event. We had such a great time. There was space for us to meet up, whether on the beach, in the lawn or by the corn hole boards. We got fresh towels daily and our bed made up for us on the regular. I highly recommend staying here when in Myrtle Beach.
Our room was very spacious and comfortable. It was also very clean. We did have issues with closet doors being broke but I consider it being normal wear and tear. The grounds were very clean and you felt safe. The pools and the beach were great. Plenty of seating areas. The poolside bar had awesome drinks when it was open. My only negative was the hours of the restaurant, grill and bar. They weren’t open majority of our trip so we had to leave for food. Also housekeeping would enter our room at 9am every morning waking us up. We would stay here again if we were to go back to Myrtle Beach.
Had a wonderful experience at this resort!! First time staying here! Booking and checking in were quick and easy! All staff are friendly and helpful! Resort was very clean, amazed at how the elevators were clean all day long as well as the hallways! House keeping went above and beyond will definitely stay here again ! Will miss this view!
I like the place, staff was very good. They were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is good. Rooms were a bit out dated but clean. Only issue was for a resort there is a lack of activities. No music in the daytime. Needs more activities especially because the location had it out of walking distance to things. Also lazy river barely moves you very weak jets.
We were in a 2 room "suite" with no couch - really no where to sit except for the table. It was dark and both windows had horrible views. The rooms all faced a multiple level parking garage which made you feel as though you were in a motel 8.
We've stayed here before and returned for a quick couple getway. Check-in was easy and quick with courteous staff. We had an oceanview room on the northern side 6th floor of the building which was great because it overlooked the neighborhood and not another hotel. The rooms are modest, we had to get a double queen because of availability, but it was spacious. Loved the fridge-its a mini but not a dorm size like most hotels. The room also had a regular coffee maker, but I would've loved a microwave. The room was clean and even though we were told no housekeeping-just towels and trash daily, we got nearly full service including vacuuming of sand at our entrance each day. Every staff member we saw or talked with was nice and courteous. The only negative I had was the electrical outlets were stripped out and anything you plugged in would just fall out. We didn't visit the pools/lazy rivers because we love the ocean!…
Grande Shores is our family's go-to destination. Comfy room, beautiful ocean view from private balcony, various pools, lazy rivers and hot tubs, only steps from the white sand beach. Quiet area but close to shopping (including Tanger Outlets) or adventures. A must stay resort in Myrtle Beach!
