We really enjoyed our stay at this resort. They gave us a great deal for being participants in the NASP open championship. The booking process was very easy and they were very friendly. The check-in process was also quick and they were very informative and friendly. The room was very clean upon arrival. And the ocean view from our balcony was spectacular. There are two access points to go on the beach and they both have showers. The pool area is great for kids and adults as there is a large swimming pool, splash pad, a baby pool, a lazy river, and a hot tub. Each time we met an employee in the hallway they were very friendly and asked if we needed anything. The parking garage with the resort always said lot full but we never had any issues with parking and if we did there was a parking garage across the street as well. It's in a quiet neighborhood away from all the hustle bustle of Boardwalk. Our room had a kitchen in it and it had everything we needed there as far as utensils go. We used it every morning to make breakfast. There was also a dining table so that we could eat together as a family. The beds were very comfortable. We were very pleased with our 4 night stay!

Hotel's Favorite
Absolutely love The Caravelle and will stay there again. Everyone from the front desk to housekeeping to security were smiling, friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean with plenty of towels and washcloths stored. Everything was clean and neat and the beachfront view from the 7th floor was incredible. They have a large outdoor pool, a large kiddie pool and a lazy river and also have an indoor pool and hot tub on the 7th floor. Great place to stay for a good price.

We had stayed in the Caravelle in October 2020 and overall had a good experience so we decided to stay here last weekend. When may husband checked in, the gentlemen did not give my husband direction on what building the room was in or anything at all besides him paying the rest of the deposit. Whatever... no big deal. As soon as we walk into our room, we were blown away with disgust. The floors were covered in dirt, nail clippings, trash, etc. I had to use the bathroom and as soon as I walked in to use the bathroom there was urine all over the toilet. The bathroom counters had not been wiped in the bathroom. There was hair and dirt laying all over it. The top of the fridge had food crumbs, the stove and sink had hair and crumbs all over it. Overall basic housekeeping had not been completed properly. I called the hotel operator and explained that I was highly upset that I was spending over $1200 for three nights for my room to be in this condition. She apologized and said she would have housekeeping come clean the room. We went out to dinner and returned in a little over an hour. The only thing that had been done was the urine was cleaned off the toilet and the hair was removed from the bathroom counter. I was even more upset and contacted the lady back. She apologized once again and said housekeeping would come and clean the whole room as it should have been done. We went out for a few hours and when we came back we were let down once again. Housekeeping had moved appliances on top of the fridge to make it look like they did something, but the crumbs and filth, was still there. There was still hair and dirt on the stove and sink. The floor had not been clean and the dressers, along with the end table were still covered with globs of dust that had just not been wiped off. I called the lady back and explained how unacceptable this was. I explained now it was after 10 at night and I was having to clean my own room. She apologized again and said she had no other rooms to move us. I also tried to find another hotel, but due to the country music fest everyone was booked. I thought it could not get worse, but it did. As my husband and I were cleaning and wiping down things, we pulled back our blanket on the bed to find two clumps of dust and hair. I was blown away. We took the blanket off to check the sheets and other blanket. I am not kidding you that from top to bottom was cover in 50 plus hairs. To the housekeeper that left this on the bed, they are just as disgusting as the room itself. I called and spoke to the manager on for the night he apologized, sent me some "clean" sheets up and refunded me 60 percent. The next morning I spoke with the front desk supervisor Katlyn, who apologized and moved us to the same type of room and promised it would be cleaned and much better. After waiting a few hours for it to be ready, we were back to square one and a lot of disappointment. The room was still dirty. Part of the ceiling was falling off and was all over the couch and floor. The stove, sink, and top of the fridge was dirty with coffee grains and old crumbs. The chair to the table had not been wiped down. Dust inches deep on surfaces due to housekeeping not doing simple task. Then to top it off waking up the last morning to two roaches in the room. There was many chances given to make this right and it never happened. This is by far the most DISGUSTING and worse experience I have ever had and do not recommend anyone to stay here. After all that we encountered, we should have gotten a full refund, even Katlyn admitted there was no where else to stay. Better train your staff to complete their job and take better pride in your company and your customers. I have pictures of every single thing that I have mentioned and even showed them.

The Caravelle is a nice resort for a family vacation it sits on the beach, several pools and a small lazy river, the units offer a kitchen some with balconey, its one block away from the strip with many restaurants to chose from Seafood, Mexican, BBQ, American food, etc. it has more of a homey feel. The staff at the front desk are great and houskeeping is great too.
