Wonderful stay. Great location if you want a quieter area of myrtle beach. The 2 bedroom oceanfront unit was perfect for our family. Convenient little coffee shop and pool bar too. Enjoyed the pools and I think it was good that there were multiple options so it didn't get too crowded.
I'm an owner of Hiltons Grand Vacations Club & every time I stay at one of their resort clubs it is never a disappointment. This hotel was absolutely a pleasure to stay at for our 7 day stay. Its located right in the center of Myrtle beach so tons of things were walking distance or a very very short car ride to places. Our 2 bedroom plus suite was absolutely spacious & had everything you needed & had 2 separate balconies that gave a beautiful view of the beach day or night. The only thing disappointing was the hotel can use a bit of an update as things are a bit outdated as far as carpets, blinds, doors, & elevators. The only thing that would have made it a perfect stay was they could have cleaned a little better as there were rust spots on doors & dirt & grime in the shower & water stains. Bed was absolutely the best I've ever slept in & had amazing sleep daily. I highly highly recommend…
With the exception of one lady, the people at the front desk are not friendly at all. I had a roaches in my room and after asking them two time during a 6 day stay, nothing was done. They send some one to clean the room once while we were there and they didn't even picked up the dead roaches. To make things better, the next day we killed three more and still nothing was done. The cleaning service is horrible. When we arrived, the carpet was not vacuumed, the kitchen countertop was sticky, and we even found a dirty pair of socks under the tv table (goes to show you how well they cleaned the place). The best part was that the socks were still there after the cleaning service was done. I would definitely could not recommend this place. I have been a Hilton Honors for more than 10yrs and never had such a bad experience. …
The room looked like it hadn’t been maintained in years. The trim looked to have water damage, weird splatter stains on some walls, paint and drywall pealing on the ceiling, the mattress look like it was used to catch bowling balls dropped from the penthouse… disfigured and lumpy
The hotel staff was so professional and nice. My family and I stayed here during a very busy week with cheer competition and basketball tournament. The mood and entertainment was awesome. We especially enjoyed the pool, bar area and Ocean view rooms. The only thing I would recommend is opening the pool earlier, but my family absolutely loved the hotel. And it is not in the middle of all the amusement parks which made it very relaxing. However, it was still in walking distance. Thank you for a great 1st time in Myrtle Beach!
We are a family of 3 and while we don’t necessarily need the best of the best, when we spend a certain dollar amount, we do expect a certain quality. The view—wonderful! Literally not a single complaint. As for the room—definitely not what was pictured when we booked it. The pictures and the actual room were NOT the same. The room was clean.. for the most part. A large amount of dust on the panels of one of the doors. The track for the shower was black.. We stayed for 7 nights and room service only came once. You have to call each and every single time you need a towel/rag/trash bags. The parking garage is pretty far away compared to other hotels that are along this same stretch of road.. and the parking garage itself is dangerous. You cannot have 2 cars moving in there at once. Came with high hopes but will be leaving with no intention of ever staying here again.…
The ocean front unit we had, 3 beds, 3 baths, was very large and clean and up to date. The ocean was steps away and the pools were right out the door. The location is in close proximity to everything we wanted to do. Airport less than 10 minutes which was very convenient. Everyone at the resort were very helpful and courteous. We definitely want to return!
We stayed on the 21st floor in a 3 bedroom oceanfront room. The room was perfect! Everything was clean and very well maintained. The view from the balcony was incredible. The sound of the ocean was the highlight of the room. The staff was really attentive, friendly and always helpful. Even with a full hotel there was ample room at the pool and we never had an issue getting a chair. Be aware that the valet and main desk are VERY busy at check in time. However, the folks that took our vehicles and the front desk staff were fantastic.
I have come to the Anderson Ocean Club & Spa several times. Everything was clean. It's a great location for kids (mini golf course across street) and restaurants, especially seafood restaurants The staff was fabulous this time. Anything we needed they were to the rescue, especially front desk, maintenance, and parking valets. They have a spa which I never use and there are no in-house restaurants, but you have all kinds of restaurants nearby.
We had an ocean front room room this year and really enjoyed it. Felt a little more spoiled since this is a step up, in my opinion. The one-bedroom met our needs and we were very comfortable there. Parking by valet was available but we decided to do it our-self which worked well since we didn't go out too often since so much was available nearby - restaurants, mini-golf, ice cream shop (my favorite), and of course, the beach.
