Dear folks at Dayton House Resort, 3x4f red It is my pleasure to share with you the wonderful experience that myself and my boyfriend had while we were at your place from January 20th to the 23rd. From check in to check out everything was professional and relaxed. Never once was I concerned about COVID or any other clean issue. The room was what we expected for our price point. Clean and neat and well stocked per COVID regulations. The highlight of our 3 day stay was the complimentary breakfast. Hth utf tt M⁵÷YUMMY! Fresh fruit, granola, yogurt, eggs, bacon, grits, etc, etc. Even in an ice storm they were there smiling and serving. The smell of the fresh cook yourself waffles made our mouths water÷equity lX Please understand that Brenda made me have tears in my eyes. IN A GREAT WAY! The first day we ate there I noticed the fruit and well...I have crazy food allergies and sensitivities. She heard me say, " ohhh dear I can't have pineapple or strawberries.." The next day she remembered me and brought me watermelon without the fruit I can't eat. THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE! I also noticed that while we would eat breakfast Brenda would go to each table and ask is everything OK do you need anything at a proper distance. She would visit for the proper amount of time just to give that extra little... make sure everyone felt welcome and appreciated. THANK FOR BRING PART OF OUR VACATION. We will enjoy coming back again and again. ⁰

We booked a room on Priceline for an oceanview king suite. When we arrived we had been upgraded to an oceanfront king suite. We gave a credit card for the resort fee which we knew about prior to booking. The suites building was separate from the building where you check in so we had to (for convenience) move our car to the parking garage under the suites building. Parking structure could use some work as pipes were sticking out and it was pretty dark in there which felt a bit unsafe. It was easy to get to our room, taking the elevator from the floor we parked on up to the 11th floor. Room was clean and spacious. There was a king bed with oceanview and a TV. You go through a hallway which doubled as the kitchen with a full size refrigerator, sink, stove, and microwave. The bathroom is off the kitchen area with the sink around separated from the bath/shower and toilet by a door. My complaint here is that it is very tight with the main bathroom door. In order to get into the toilet and bath/shower room, you basically have to close the door. Not a big deal but in the middle of the night without a light on, it is annoying. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Our toilet did tend to run so we had to jiggle the handle in order to make it stop. There was an additional room with a sofa and a pull down bed (that we did not use). There was also a table with 2 chairs and a large TV. This leads to the balcony with a pretty good oceanfront view. There is a drain pipe in front of this building where rainwater comes out and the seagulls and pigeons love to congregate in this area. The lazy river was closed (it was January), but the indoor pool was open. Small but warm. There are plenty of chairs set up outside if you want to relax. Breakfast was included in the price and was a nice buffet. You check in at the front with your room number and name. There was a make your own waffle station, and 2 very nice gentlemen serving items on the buffet. When we stayed it was hard boiled eggs, yogurt, eggs, grits with and without cheese, bacon, muffins, potatoes, and biscuits and gravy. Several types of juices, coffee, and other drinks and cereals. Hostesses were friendly and seemed to enjoy getting to know guests. Price for a January visit were excellent for what we received. Will stay again if we are in the area.

Stayed at this property 4 years ago for Christmas it is typically very affordable. It is older with some upgrades but in need of more maintenance and better housekeeping. This was a last minute Christmas getaway checked in Dec 23rd was informed I had been upgraded to a suite. Pleasant surprise!!! Room appeared clean but bathroom had at least 20 visible pieces of hair in and around the tub. Disgusting housekeeping must be using there same rag for everything, because when I looked in the refrigerator the same hair everywhere. Housekeeping needs better training even if it is an older property it should still be clean. Called front desk but she said no one could come clean the room she could move me but with 2 young kids I declined. The highlight of our stay Mrs. Brenda and the breakfast staff. I appreciated breakfast was included in the stay it was one of the reasons I selected the property, but everyone at breakfast went above and beyond to offer fresh hot tasty food and accommodate young kids.
